Established in 2024, we are proud guardians of the magnificent Black Russian Terrier, a breed we've cherished since 2014 We actively participate in conformation and obedience competitions. Our primary focus is on three main pillars: temperament, health, and sound structure. Maintaining breed type and correctness is essential in our breeding program. We are dedicated to staying informed about the Black Russian Terrier on a global scale. Our pursuit of knowledge is an on-going journey, as we constantly seek to educate ourselves about all aspects of the BRT, including health issues and pedigree lines. All dogs we consider for breeding undergo thorough health tests, including evaluations for hip and elbow dysplasia. We screen for HUU, JLPP, PRA, and other relevant tests specific to the breed. We are happy to provide health testing results upon request. Our mission is to breed exceptional BRT’s that embody breed type, health, soundness, and substantial conformation to the breed standard, all while possessing beautiful temperaments. We have welcomed a litter of beautiful Black Russian Terriers. 3 boys currently available to pet and show homes with breeding rights. This litter has dual Sires, so on top of health dna testing these babies will have parent confirmation prior to leaving the kennel. Babies are also registered with Dogs NZ, and the Companion animal database. They all come with a comprehensive puppy pack and lifetime support from us at Black Bears Kennel. Black Russian Terrier pups Born 17 September Ready to go to new homes now 15 Weeks old 1 boy AVAILABLE (Red Collar) DNA tested HUU CLEAR Sire from US Kennel Black Beards(semen import), Dam imported from Australia, bred by Black Reighn. Health testing available to view from both parents, we welcome visitors to come and meet us and our pups and Dam. All pups are microchipped, DNA screened, registered with Dogs NZ and come with an extensive puppy pack and lifetime breeder support. Pups are treated for worms 2 weekly (to 12 weeks), and fleas. All puppies also complete both an ESI and ENS program between 3-16 days old. Pups spend most of their time outside playing and exploring although have free access to come back inside as they want.
