The Laekenois is a beautiful breed.. they are extremely smart, agile and willing to please. This particular variety does nothing by halves, they are intense and require an experienced handler. The Laekenois will be loyal, loving and protective of its family. This variety of the Belgian Shepherd is not for the faint hearted, they will teach you how to be a better dog trainer and handler. They will love you with their whole being. They are an amazing dog. They are also very rare, with less than 230 born in Australia over the past 28 years.

We are planning a litter mid to late 2022..

All breeding dogs are DNA profiled, hip/elbow scored and eye tested, results are available on request by interested puppy buyers.

HOW - Breeding takes place in our home, puppies are raised with our children and other dogs.

Animal welfare is always our primary consideration. All dogs in our breeding program have full DNA screening, hip & elbow exams, and vet exams before breeding. Our dogs are from some of the most established GSP kennels in Australia, with a combination of Show Champions, Field Champions, and hunting lines.

We breed to produce dogs that are:
1. healthy and physically sound
2. have a warm and loving temperament as a GSP should
3. fun and intelligent
4. maintain their innate drive as a gun dog.

Our dogs are fantastic as:
1. Pets, running companions etc
2. for obedience, agility, or trialing events
3. gun dog work

Our puppies are sold on the ANKC limited register.

We believe GSPs should look good in the show ring and perform in the field. We are currently working towards a Duel Champion title for all our dogs.

We are a small kennel dedicated to breeding exceptional German Shorthaired Pointers. We only breed with the very best bloodlines and have imported multiple dogs from Europe and America. Our GSPs are multi BEST IN SHOW winning Supreme Champions but most important to us they are much loved family pets.

Both sire and dam of our July litter are Best In Show Winning Australian Champions. We are anticipating a beautiful litter of puppies, bred to the breed standard. We do not believe in producing continuous litters, but breed when we are looking to retain a puppy ourselves to show. You can be assured we always put a lot of thought into choosing the best sire and dams of our litters.

Interstate transport can be easily arranged. Both parents have wonderful temperaments and are DNA tested with genetic clearances. Our kennel whelped their first litter in 1978 and have decades of knowledge and breed experience.

We are very excited to announce the arrival of 2 much anticipated litters: One litter of 6 and litter of 8. All are strong healthy puppies. 

We have been breeding our beautiful type of elegant GSP for more than 50 years.
We do not compete in the show ring. We compete in dogs sports (agility and rally) to prove our dogs’ soundness, intelligence and more importantly their temperament and trainability. The parents of these litters are from many generations of our breeding lines that have been exceptionally successful competing in many of the dog sports now available for our dogs..

Being dog trainers, we pay special attention to socialization, frequent handling, exploring different environments and varied experiences to ensure a confident, friendly, outgoing nature. Pups are raised to encourage easy house training and a pup that wants to come when called. As a vet I ensure the best healthy start to life. Pups are wormed, heartworm prevention started, micro-chipped and vaccinated. 

We give full follow up, and love to keep in touch with our pups, including a Facebook group for our owners where we continue to publish photos, news and advice.
