SUPERNOVA FRENCH BULLDOGS NZ is a small boutique breeder based in the lovely Wairarapa. Our aim is to change the way people think the French Bulldog 'should' look. We are breeding our dogs with longer noses, legs and backs rather than the usual squishy faces and shorts legs/ bodies - features that end up being exaggerated for looks not health. Our Frenchie's are a big part of our family and are well loved pets first and foremost. Our puppies have been brought up with our young children, cats and other large dogs and are truly loved and adored by all. We are a proud and very small breeder with a litter only when wanting to retain for our breeding program and to show. Our dogs live within the family home enjoying farm life just outside of Dubbo. Allowing freedom to swim and explore, utilizing all their natural instincts. Currently reveling in time spent showing our gorgeous homebred girl Maeve (Freetoroam An Irish Blessing) We strive to breed for health, correctness of type and soundness within the breed standard in an attempt to preserve our much-loved French Bulldog. AGEAU

We have been in our breed for 15 years, showing and developing our line from Australian Champions. Our first Bitch (Holly) was from Sarcelles in Victoria with International and Australian lines, she produced Aust Ch Ageau One Venus. Venus has produced our stud boy, Aust Ch Ageau D' Ari Beau Garcon. We breed occasionally for new show dogs and to achieve the best outcomes with pups. We desire great temperaments, healthy (tested) and happy babies that most importantly are to Australian Breed standard. We do not support any other bodies that register or condone breeding of dogs that are not acceptable to be registered with Dogs Australia and within Australian Breed Standard guidlines. Thanks to Britbull and Earsrup for input into our line and passing on their wealth knowledge over the years. I may be newly registered to Dogzonline. But I have owned, shown and bred Frenchies a few times since 2006. Taking a break from it all in 2011 and started my own family. I did my breeders exam through Dogs Australia and have become a member through Dogzonline since getting our Foundation Bitch Krystal. We stepped out into the show ring in 2023 where we both did amazingly considering how much time I have spent away from the ring and it being her first time. Krystal has had a full breed DNA profile and is clear from any hereditary known diseases known to the breed. When breeding, besides the obvious of the breed standard, we are also huge on temperament. Krystal is currently being trained up to meet children at primary school’s to teach and educate about dogs and ways to approach. This is a true reflection on her temperament. She is the most loving, loyal and people person dog you will meet. Breeding isn’t something we will do often, but when we do, we can guarantee the perfect family French Bulldog pet.

I have been happily showing and breeding French Bulldogs since 1999 with my foundation bitch being the lovely CH Lajoix Sophie whose dam was from the famous Wyndsmoor line in the UK - NZ CH Wyndsmoor Amour Amour (imp UK). Over the last 20 years I have bred a number of puppies who are all out and about in NZ, Australia & Canada making many families a happier place. To date I have titled 19 home-bred champions under my kennel name. We have 2 stud dogs at home: CH Pahaoa Rogatien and Pahaoa Armande - available to approved bitches. I am currently campaigning some of my young Frenchies in the show ring. Just love owning these fabulous dogs - they don't call them the clowns of the dog world for nothing! I breed to the International FCI Standard - I do not breed fad-coloured Frenchies - blues, merles, chocolates and blacks. I am also an NZCAC certified microchip implanter.

CHEZFRENCH

I am a small boutique breeder and my Frenchie’s are my family. My aim is to breed healthy, sound French Bulldogs true to the ANKC Breed Standard, following Dogs NSW Code of Ethics. I have 3 breeding girls and they are all health tested prior to breeding. This means they are DNA tested for hereditary cataracts, breed specific diseases and their hips and spine are x rayed and scored. My girls have also been Respiratory function graded, by a Specialist Veterinarian team from Cambridge University with clear score gradings – results can be seen on the Orivet website. Both Parents undergo DNA testing prior to breeding. This means the puppies are clear by parentage and will not inherit/ display any of these diseases. All my breeding dogs undergo a Full Breed Disease DNA Profile. Based on those results, the puppies that I breed cannot be affected (double gene carriers) by the testable diseases known to affect French Bulldogs. Chezfrench is dedicated to producing beautiful & healthy French Bulldogs and I choose the best genetics available to advance the quality & health of breed, by selecting gorgeous boys that have impressive pedigrees and are proven sires, with top winning progeny in Australia and overseas. I will only breed from dogs with no known health issues & with exceptional temperaments. Puppies are DNA tested, spine and trachea x-rayed at 9 weeks, heart, eyes, and jaws are checked, and a veterinary health report is issued, and guaranteed.
