First most all our Frenchies are members of our family and are absolute lounge hogs, they are all health tested prior to breeding, this means that hips and spine are xrayed and scored and DNA tested for hereditary cataracts We are dedicated to breeding to the standard for type & temperament. I have been showing for at least 3 years now and I absolutely love it, it is great to have a passion and to be able to share it with our beloved Bullkids. I bred and successfully showed Cattle Dogs from 1979 till the birth of our son Cruz in 1999. About eight years later we started looking for a pet for Cruz, we wanted a dog that was small enough to be in the house comfortably, low maintenance and most importantly be a robust and fun dog for an 8 year old boy…. And so became our love of Frenchies. Our beloved Elliot , closely followed by Stevie and Dolly cemented our love for this endearing fun loving breed. When Cruz got a bit older and more independent I started thinking about breeding and showing dogs again of course Frenchies were my choice . Here at Prettyvales our aim is to breed healthy and sound Frenchies for the Show Ring and for the home.
