PRETTYVALES

I bred and successfully showed Cattle Dogs from 1979 till the birth of our son Cruz in 1999. About eight years later we started looking for a pet for Cruz, we wanted a dog that was small enough to be in the house comfortably, low maintenance and most importantly be a robust and fun dog for an 8 year old boy…. And so became our love of Frenchies. Our beloved Elliot , closely followed by Stevie and Dolly cemented our love for this endearing fun loving breed. When Cruz got a bit older and more independent I started thinking about breeding and showing dogs again of course Frenchies were my choice . Here at Prettyvales our aim is to breed healthy and sound Frenchies for the Show Ring and for the home. We are members of ANKC and the French Bulldog Club of NSW and breed to the ANKC French Bulldog Breed Standard. Our dogs are raised in a home environment and are pets first and foremost and we find this environment carries over to the ring…. Our dogs love going to shows. Please be aware that acceptable colour patterns for the breed are brindle, fawn and pied. Our Frenchies are treated like family, lives inside the house and only get the best treatment that you can imagine. They are health tested prior to breeding, including x-raying and scoring of the hip and spine and DNA testing in compliance with the French Bulldog Club of NSW breeding scheme. When we have puppies for sale they will undergo a preliminary spine x-ray examination to check for any kind of severe abnormalities prior to leaving our home and raised in a well socialised home environment. We are a small breeder in inner city Perth and aim to produce dogs with the best of health, temperament and conformation. Our breeding stock is DNA tested and hip/spine scored. Puppies are handled often from a young age and socialised well with children. Home of MOONGLADE JACK IN THE BOX. Jack is fully heath tested including hip and spine X-ray and scored with excellent results, and available for stud. ' Frozen semen available to approved bitches. At Resort, our puppies live inside our family home with myself, husband and 2 children (13 and 11 year old) We do not have many litters but when we do our time is devoted to supporting the puppies to bring out their little personalities. Vin aka Specialty Grand Champion/ NZ Champion Warfare vu Valentino is the only French Bulldog to date that is a Specialty Grand Champion and he is also the only French Bulldog to win 3 Specialty Best in Shows to go with his 3 Reserve Specialty in Shows.Vin also is the breed record holder for CCs in NZ and a record holder winning 5 Best of Breeds at the NZ National dog show , culminating in Best of Group 2017.The first and only French Bulldog to win Best of Group. Vin is fully health tested with excellent results.
