A small boutique breeder of Miniature Smooth dachshunds, based in the Gold Coast hinterland. We only breed a litter when we plan to keep a pup for ourselves for the show ring. We are registered with ANKC (Dogs Australia) and Dogs Queensland. I am currently Secretary of the Dachshund Club of Queensland as well as Secretary of the National Dachshund Council. Our dogs are all from top winning stock with imported bloodlines and do well in the show ring under local and international judges. Health is of utmost importance to us, as are good temperaments and having happy, well adjusted dogs. All of our pups are raised inside the family home, they are well socialised before leaving and have interactions with our older dogs, our grandchildren and visitors so they are confident, happy pups. Our adult dogs are all fully DNA tested and clear of all hereditary diseases, we x-ray our dogs spines for disc calcifications and only breed from those with low scoring results to minimise any chances of IVDD. Langtally pups will make great show puppies and also beautiful pets and be your future best friends. Once you own a Langtally pup you become part of our extended Dachshund family. Our miniature smooth dachshunds are raised in the home environment as part of the family. Each and every one of them are very special to us. Although, we only commenced showing and breeding this beautiful breed 14 years ago, Dachshunds have been a part of our life for many years prior to this. During this time, we have titled more than 12 dogs and produced 8 home-bred Australian Champions. Our focus is to breed for both good conformation & temperament as we believe that these have to go hand-in-hand to produce sound and well-adjusted puppies. We breed to continue our lines and want to produce dogs that meet the Dachshund Breed Standard. While our dogs go into the show ring, first and foremost they are our pets and are part of our family. We ask interested new families to complete our Potential Puppy Buyer’s Questionnaire as this helps us to match puppies to their new families. Each puppy and family are individual in their situation and needs. We provide lots of photos, videos and Face-time to keep new families updated on the puppies’ progress. Wherever possible we encourage our puppy families to meet the parents of their puppy. Our adult dogs have genetic and back-scoring testing undertaken and we provide copies of these reports. As well, all our puppies are genetically parentage tested so you are assured by their registered pedigree that they are pure-bred miniature dachshunds from the stated dam and sire.

STANDARD Long Haired Dachshunds Approximately 10kgs to 14 kgs in weight. Black and tan male and female puppy - born 28 August 2024 - available for sale to approved homes as a pet only - not for breeding. My puppies are raised in the house as babies, then are in a dedicated area attached to the house with access to a grass play space during the day. This assists with their toilet training as they have learnt to go out to the grass to toilet. They are used to the noise of daily life - lawn mower, dogs barking from nearby, radio. These puppies have had two vaccinations, have a registered microchip and have been wormed regularly. An information pack, including diet and care advice, comes with the puppy.
