We are thrilled to introduce this beautiful, very rare Japanese breed to Australia.
We have imported 3 Shikoku to date, and looking into a forth in the near future. .
Our breeding age Shikoku have been health tested for HD, ED and Eyes plus DNA breed health profile prior to making any breeding plans. This is to ensure the breed within Australia is as heathy as can be before breeding.

We are thrilled with how well our first generation Shikoku have been received in the show ring in the last 6 months.

GEORGIE'S BLACK AND CHOCOLATE PUPPIES were born on the 12th September and will be ready to go to their forever homes on the 7th November. We have one beautiful, affectionate and playful Chocolate boy still looking for his forever home. His puppy bag is packed with his blanket, toy and food and he is ready to join his forever family now. As we want to breed healthy, happy puppies, Georgie and Darcy have also been DNA profiled to ensure their puppies will not be affected by any known genetic diseases. We love our puppies, and they are treated as family from the moment of birth, with lots of cuddles. They start their lives inside with us, so we can keep careful watch over them and they can become accustomed to normal household noise. When they are ready, they are carefully introduced to the great outdoors in a safe grassy puppy yard where they can explore and play. We are pleased to announce that Phoebe has had a litter of 9 puppies, whelped on the 22nd of October. The litter consists of 2 yellow puppies, 1 dog and 1 bitch, and 6 black puppies, 4 dogs and 2 bitches.

The dam and sire are health tested (with good results). This includes hip and elbow scores, annual eye certificates, and full DNA testing. Copies of these health test results are available if requested, and copies given to all new owners. Puppies are registered with DogsNZ (formerly NZKC) in their new owner's name.

We choose families for our puppies based on their knowledge of Labrador needs, and the home and love they can provide. We are proud of our puppies, and open to discussions about removing some breeding restrictions for informed labrador breeders.

These puppies will be ready for their new homes on the 17th of December. Please note that we never sell puppies as Christmas presents (never - no exceptions). Please also be aware that there will be an extra daily charge for puppies when we are asked to look after them after the 26th of December.
