Conghal means Bold As A Hound. Conghal is our start in the glorious world of the Irish Wolfhound. Our aim in the future is to breed healthy and happy purebred Irish Wolfhounds with great temperaments and a conformity to breed standard. We want to watch them grow and flourish in happy homes, and bring those homes as much joy as they bring to ours. We have shown our dogs regularly in the past and will continue to do so for as long as they are happy to do so. Showing is a great hobby and we enjoy seeing our Irish Wolfhounds in the show ring – there are too few out there, we would love to see more. Our Irish Wolfhounds share our home and our hearts . Our hounds are a part of our family and share our home (and couches and bed) with us day and night. We believe in living as one with our dogs and we are a complete and happy pack. I have always loved Irish Wolfhounds, and in 2019 bought my first pure bred Wolfhound 'Fern' AKA Houndswood Stars Aurora (AI) to start my own breeding line. 2022 saw 'Fern' have her first litter (2 males, 5 females), sired by imported semen from Bribiba Irish Wolfhounds Scotland - Ballymuckleheany Outlander for Bribiba (IKC) "Bumble" My dogs are my family, so, good luck getting a spot on the couch! All puppies have been raised in my home environment with an emphasis on producing healthy, socially adjusted, confident Irish Wolfhounds. All puppies are registered with Dogs Victoria. Companion puppies will be supplied with Limited registration. Prospective puppy owners are very welcome to visit and meet my 'pack'. Bayenzi Mze Blitzen (Maisy) is 5 months old, full vaccinated, council registered. Lead and toilet trained. Travels well in cars and loves other dogs and children. She was always my favourite puppy girl in my 2024 litter and had planned to show her, but it’s not her thing so we are offering her for adoption. Maisy is a pretty, sweet natured little girl, she would be best suited to a home where she has another pet companion, dog, cat, bird as she is used to being part of our small pack of 4 and has been raised in the house. My first litter, Christmas puppies, all are in family homes. The second litter of 6, has 2 girls in the showring, both doing very well. The next litter is again an out of season litter, born in September. There is possibility of 3 of these being in the show ring. I have 4 grandchildren, so the pups are well versed in the antics of kids. My show pups have had wonderful critique's at Specialty shows, and by judges who have experience in the breed.

Meet Chevy who was born 13/04/2024, which makes him 8 months old. Chevy is pedigreed and registered with the Australian National Kennel Club (ANKC). Free of Fanconi and tested for Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) and PPM. Chevy is desexed and has all vaccinations for 1 year. He also has basic training to sit and come, to walk on a lead, sleep in a crate, is toilet trained to litter, pee pads, and to go outside, and travels well in a car. All potential new families will need to be vetted by the breeder for suitability. Chevy is friendly, smart, and get on well with adult Basenjis and will make wonderful companions.
