I have been involved with Border Terriers since 2002, before that with the Welsh Corgi Pembroke from 1979. Breeding only occasionally. Temperament, soundness, type are all considerations for breeding quality puppies at Lisgar Kennels. Enquires most welcome, please expect to be asked questions about yourself and the home a puppy would be going to.
I purchased my first border terrier in 2014. Trixie has her show ring title and competed in the agility ring. I recently acquired my third border terrier which I have started to show before we go onto agility. She will be my next breeding dog, hopefully some time in 2025.

We are a small kennel dedicated to breeding well socialised, quality Border Terriers. Our aim is to meet all the conformation, temperament and health standards.
We're thrilled with our results in the show ring and delighted to announce that our homebred bitches Muffin, Cookie, and Grizz have earned their Australian Champion titles.
Our newest additions, Prada (Bohunt hell in Highs Heels) and Chester (Bohunt Cold day in Hell), from my dear friend Gaela of Bohunt Border Terriers. I feel truly honoured to have been entrusted with these beautiful babies.
Puppies - Our pups are reared in our home with my children. Our dogs are very well socialised, love kids and are adapted to our farm life.
I love to see them go to forever homes where they can participate in all activities and be loved family members. They are registered, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed with pet insurance.
We have owned and lightly shown Border Terriers since 1991. Entering the dog world in 1972, handling, showing, breeding and judging Golden Retrievers in the UK. Our dog numbers always very small due to working professions and living overseas and interstate.
We now have time to concentrate on our Borders.
We will always use the best bloodlines we can from overseas and in Australia and breed with much care and attention. We will only use SLEM Clear or Hereditary SLEM Clear stud dogs and bitches.
I have been a registered breeder for approx. 20 years and breeding Borders for approx. 15 years. These happy outgoing little dogs are a pleasure to own and breed. My aim is to breed for companion and show with particular attention paid to temperament and conformation. I love to see them go to forever family homes where they can participate in the family activities and be loved family members. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have about Borders.

Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. Our Mums are minimum 2yo+ and mature physically and mentally, before carefully considering breeding, or not. We are here to support our homes and will take back any dog, at any stage throughout life.
Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average and are matched to homes based on temperament and home type. We aim to place puppies once, and well.
