We are a family of Rhodesian Ridgeback owners of long standing who show and breed their dogs to continue over four decades of selective breeding and winning in the show ring. We are not commercial breeders, but Rhodesian Ridgeback enthusiasts, and consider our hobby a lifelong passion. We pride ourselves on soundness and excellent temperament. We have consistently shown a number of Rhodesian Ridgebacks to their titles, and won a number of In Show and In Group awards at both All Breed, Group and Specialty Levels. We did set multiple original Australian records over 30 years ago! Of note over the recent showing years we have won challenges under numerous breed specialists whose opinions we greatly appreciate. Notable wins include Ziggy winning Runner up to Best in Group under breed Specialist Myron Arthur and Loki winning Best of Breed at Canberra Royal., Tempe taking out Best Brown Nose Bitch in Show at the 2017 and Gypsy winning Opposite Baby in Show NSW Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty Show. We pride ourselves on having quality ridgebacks that display all characteristics of the breed. Marandela Rhodesian Ridgebacks we are situated on 10 acres in the beautiful Bonville Valley, just south of Coffs Harbour, NSW. All of our dogs are tested for DM, hip and elbow scored and full DNA profile completed before breeding. A small select kennel located in Wollongong, rarely breeding, only to supplement our own stock. Our dogs are bred for type and of course, temperament, as we believe no matter how good a dog is in the show ring, if it doesn't have a sound temperament then it shouldn't be considered in a breeding program. Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks is situated in the village of Murchison, near the top of the South Island, NZ. Living on a lifestyle block, our dogs enjoy sharing the land with our cattle, sheep & horses. Since starting my Kennel in 2000 we have endeavoured to continually improve the breed with an focus on temperament and soundness. Ours quality has been proven in the showring with Grand champions and champions as well as multiple in group and show winners. All puppies are raised in the home and socialised with adult Ridgebacks and dachshunds and come with life long support. All dogs are health tested before entering our breeding program. We are taking expressions of interest for show and pet homes for our current litter. Parents have had numerous health testing and passed with flying colours. Sanyati Ridgebacks are situated on 10 acres in East Kurrajong NSW. We have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1984 when Kathy first began showing the breed in conformation. Now Sanyati is a second generation kennel, with daughter Ally taking over many of the roles. Our Ridgies are much loved members of the family, they live alongside Ally’s young children and are a part of our every day life, going to family outings and camping trips. We prove our dogs quality by taking them to shows to be assessed against others breeding with very consistent and pleasing results. We breed occasionally with a huge amount of forethought into the bloodlines and qualities we are after to continue our kennel and support our breed. All our dogs have had full DNA profiling and hip and elbow scoring to reduce and eliminate hereditary diseases from our lines. Ujamaa kennels- breeders of champions and companions since 1978. We have owned or bred over 40 Champions, but show rarely these days. Our primary objective is to breed sound companions- to do this we source the best stud dogs for our girls- most recently travelling to Crufts in the UK and the World Dog show in Croatia to find the best. Our current companions are Aust Ch Ujamaa Alessandra Facchinetti (Allie) and Ujamaa Winx, daughter of Int Ch Vizara Jukati and Allie. I have a particular interest in genetic diseases and dogs we breed with are routinely screened for sound hips, elbows and degenerative myelopathy (DM). Shangoridge is a small select kennel located in the Upper Murray in North EastVictoria. Only breeding occasionally our puppies are raised in a rural family home environment socialized with both children and adults along with other family pets/ livestock. KiyaMiya RR is situated on 20 beautiful acres in the South west town of Boyanup WA. We have had this wonderful intelligent breed for the last 13 years and breed infrequently. Our dogs live in our house and have been raised with our 3 kids and an array of farm animals including chooks, horses, sheep, pigs and cows. They also have to share the house with a cat but don't like to talk about that!! Our dogs are well socialized, have wonderful temperaments and are true to the breed. We hip and elbow score and our dogs have tested clear for DM and JME. Our beautiful boy Cooper (Seablueridge Babylon) recently joined the pack and the girls all adore him. The couple of years has seen KiyaMiya enter the world of showing with Cooper and our young girl Kiya (Marindy The One and Only).
