Wurroit Bedlingtons are raised in a family environment with the dogs regularly welcoming visitors which results in the development of friendly, loyal dogs tolerant of new people and young children.

Bedlingtons have a non-shedding coat which makes them an ideal dog for people with allergies or asthma. They do however need regular grooming

Wurroit Bedlingtons original dogs came from Stenmor followed by Piperdene. We then added a Caeruleus bitch with UK and Stenmor ancestry. Our latest boy adds Ausbed and Granitor (UK), lines to the mix. The inclusion of kennels such as Isotop's (Sweden) and Piako (NZ), imports gives us genetic diversity while the selection for correct "type" allows us to produce pups with the desired traits and temperament of the breed.

Wurroit Bedlingtons are enjoying life as much loved pets and show dogs in Qld, NSW, Vic., S.A., W.A. Tas., the N.T., and overseas in Sweden, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Korea and most recently, Wurroit Waikikan Wahine (Maili) has joined her uncle Wurroit Waimean Wascal (Moki), by taking up residence on Oahu, Hawaii.

We are a small boutique kennel (by international standards) based in Sydney, striving to breed to the FCI standard of type, size, structure, soundness, temperament and movement. This is reflected in our very successful show results.

We have dogs who have won Junior World Winner titles - 2016, 2017, 2018 and World Winner titles, 2018 and 2019 and Vice Winner 2020. We are the only Australian kennel to have exported a dog to the UK who has won both an Irish and English Champion. Our girl Fioralainn Russian Melody is mother to the NO 1 Terrier of Russia 2023. This is a very big achievement and reflective of our continuous genetic improvements and effective alliances within the Bedlington international community.

The only Bedlington Terrier Kennel in Australia to have successfully taken and competed our homebred Bedlington Terriers at World Dog Shows and have UK winners.

As we breed selectively, all our dogs are raised in our home and are well socialised, happy, confident, & outgoing. Our puppies are micro chipped, vaccinated and DNA tested by Llaboklin (UK).

We are very committed to this versatile, unique and agile breed, hence bringing in new blood for our gene pool in Australia. We are one of the few breeders to import dogs or semen in the last 10 years. Our latest arrival from Russia will be in May 2024. We are looking forward to welcoming an English Bedlington in 2024 to solidify our breeding lines.

We are delighted to announce that we are expecting puppies in Mid October.

NZ Ch. Oasis Wild Iris X Kianidoon Sarg Tamiarch.

Their previous litter produced Pepper & Salt and Black & Silver puppies of exceptional quality.

Puppies will all have their pedigrees on the limited register (pet only) with Dogs Australia and are from DNA health tested parents. We raise our puppies using the Puppy Culture Program and Early Neurological Stimulation in order to set them up for an easy transition into their new homes. We have found this to be so important for their ability to take life head on.

We send our puppies home with a huge puppy pack including some of the toys that they are used to playing with, a bed and or blanket smelling of their mum and siblings, brush, collar and lead and food. They will have a starter life/health insurance policy at no cost to their new family. Puppies are raised wtih children and dogs, ensuring that they can slot into a family environment easily.

Our dogs and puppies eat only the best quality food here. We feed a diet of human grade chicken, turkey, lamb, kangaroo, beef and fish mince mixed with a variety of immune boosting superfoods and vegetables to our adults and puppies. We also feed puppies Royal Canin Miniature Schnauzer puppy kibble just in case their new family isn't able to provide fresh raw food. This helps them to transition their diet easily.

Pups are up to date with worming, vaccinations, are microchipped and are very healthy and friendly. Toilet training is going extremely well. They will transition to their new homes with a puppy pack.
They are raised in our home and are very well adjusted to being with our other 4 schnauzers at play time, as well as being taken away one at a time for some human affection time.
We are not big breeders, we just love to share this beautiful breed of dog with others who would like their life enhanced by a schnauzer (or two!). Our previous 2 litters have gone to wonderful homes and are dearly loved by their new owners.

I am currently expecting puppies from several of my girls they will have black, black and silver and salt and pepper puppies between them.
All the mums are Kleinerbaer girls bred by me, Hannah, Ivy and Lucinda.
The sire of two litters is -
Summery Lord of the Dance (Guido) who is the progeny of Dog Othos Just Give Me A Call imported from Argentina. He is the father of Lucinda and has sired Hannah and Ivy's puppies.
Hannah is the daughter of Favreah Pendragon who is the progeny of GER. Jr CH. HRV. Jr CH. ITA. Jr CH. Vento Di Monte Gentile (imported Italy)
The Sire of the third litter from Lucinda is Kimbriki Mr Razzle Dazzle the progeny of Kimbriki Bohemian Rhaposody producing many Australian Champions.
They will be ready to go 23rd, 25th and 29th December all going to plan.
