Breeding and exhibiting Afghan Hounds since the early 1970's. From an extremely limited breeding program we have produced more than 40 champions in many countries, including an International Champion.

Suliman kennels is located in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, owned and bred by Kerin, Kerry & Rachel Hutchings. We have been involved with afghan hounds since 1973, and have since succeeded in selectively breeding afghans which have sound temperament, elegance & substance. We have enjoyed much success over the last 3 decades of showing, and in recent years have bred, owned and handled Australia’s #1 Afghan Hound for 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019. Through hard work and dedication to the breed, we have accomplished more than 100 Best in Shows and 50 reserve Best in Shows, consistently winning at some of Australia’s most prestigious all breed shows. However, our success has not just been for us here in Australia, but also to those around the globe, having bred many champions and best in show winners in over 8 different countries. We at Suliman welcome all newcomers to the breed, as well as those who have had and shared the love for Afghan Hounds for many years. LaSimba has been involved in showing and breeding purebred dogs for 25 years and has gotten involved in Lagotti for the last three as the breed aligns so well with the AAT (animal assisted therapy, education and activities) space…a key focus for us with involvement in school dog programs. Our puppies come from ANKC registered parents with impressive titles and international bloodlines in both pedigrees, ensuring the continuation of the breed's exceptional characteristics and health standards. With a focus on responsible breeding practices and quality care, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of each puppy, setting them up for a fulfilling and joyful life in their new homes. We use ENS and Puppy Culture methods in rearing puppies in the family home. Parents have been hip and elbow scored and have had full DNA breed profiles and health testing done. We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. These puppies will be available to go to their new homes late November 2024. We currently have a white male available. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance. Three of our lovely lagotto ladies have decided to bless us with puppies before the end of the year. One litter of six has safely arrived and four puppies are currently available. Mums are brown, brown roan and cream and dads are both brown roan so we are expecting a range of colours. Some puppies will be available before Christmas or we can hold on the farm until mid January if you have holidays planned. AmiciLeale are pleased to announce the safe arrival of 3 girls and 4 boys, from our beautiful girl Saffy (AmiciLeale Saffron Spice Girl), these pups are available to new homes early in new year Saffy is 3rd generation AmiciLeale girl, sired by my top show winning boy Monte (Australian 2019 dogzonline breed rising star), with his parents both being imported by me from Italy. We have been dedicated to this breed since 2009, with all litters raised using puppy culture protocols to ensure they get the best start in life.
