Lachlanpark is a small kennel located in Rural Central West of N.S.W. where we strive to breed for quality and type whilst temperament and health are of the utmost importance. Our Tenterfields are bred from the best bloodlines available in Australia.Stud dogs are available to approved bitches, and, puppies sometimes available for show and for a loving pet.

We are a small select kennel based in the Lockyer Valley. We have been breeding and showing dogs for just over 10 We breed for type, temperament and soundness and our dogs live in the home with us and our puppies are raised with love in the home on our small acreage. We strive for quality healthy Tenterfields. All our Tenterfields are PLL, CHG and PRA clear. Stud dogs available to approved bitches. Puppies occasionally available for show or pet.

Zemirah means “song of joy” and I think that’s very appropriate when it comes to these beautiful little dogs. I have had Mini Foxies as a part of my life for as long as I can remember and have moved into Tenterfield Terriers in the last few years after receiving help from some wonderful breeders. I’m in very good company. Our dogs live on our acreage with us and are a huge part of our family, and very much loved. They’re used to being around farm animals such as horses, goats, and chickens. They’re also used to being around our children and will therefore suit a family home. I’m so excited and passionate about breeding quality pups from great lines that are happy, healthy, confident, sound and true to type. All my dogs are PLL and ChG free. Lucas, a natural bob tail (NTB)came to live with us aged 10 months. Since then he has won 6 Best Exhibit in Specialty Show, a dozen other all-breeds and Specialty Best in Show awards, plus many Best in Group awards and is Victoria's only Grand Champion Tenterfield Terrier. Lucas is also currently the only Tenterfield Terrier in Victoria to hold an Earthdog title NE, proving he has the ability to perform the job for which he was bred. Lucas is a popular stud dog in Victoria, having sired some 15 litters. Among these 10 Champions from 9 different bitches already have attained the title of Australian Champion in 4 States, and one Flyball Champion. 'Rangeaire' comes into Tenterfield Terriers with considerable experience, having bred some 80 Champion Airedale Terriers in direct line. So, the decision to 'downsize' to Tenterfields was not taken lightly! With the addition of two bitches, we aim to selectively breed to establish correct breed type and balance within this breed. This includes consolidating an esthetically pleasing tail length, making full use of the natural bob tail gene that naturally occurs in this fascinating, recently recognized Australian breed.
