Standard wire-haired dachshunds for show or obedience. Imported UK, European and US bloodlines including I Spy, Sunsong, Boloria, Treis Pinheiros, Brumberhill and Ambiesque. We select for great dispositions, soundness, type, harsh coat texture and minimal shedding. We screen all breeding stock for recommended standard wire health panel tests. Our dogs have achieved championship titles in conformation, obedience, lure coursing, earth dog and scent work to date. We breed versatile champions. Dachshunds have been part of our world for over 10 years, successfully exhibiting Australian Champions that have been acknowledged by both local and international judges for their quality and temperament. We are now pleased to announce we have imported Standard Wire-Haired lines into the country from the Internationally recognised Brazilian kennel, Treis Pinheiros. With one litter already proving their worth around the Australian Show Scene, we look forward to continuing our success as breeders and exhibitors of this fantastic breed.

Adventuring into the world of the Dachshund Wirehair and Miniature longhair - with J & T McDonald, the new prefix of Dachdotcom started with a litter from Grand Champion Wyredach Sweet Sensation - a wonderful beginning. The one and only litter of Miniature Longhairs from Ch Sashdin Royal Ladies First produced some stunning and very succcessful kids. We provide puppy packs (includes info booklets, food samples etc) to our new puppy owners and 6 weeks complimentary puppy insurance. Our adults and pups are fed a combination of premium dry food and a raw diet. Our puppies are ONLY available to homes where they will be much loved members of the family. Note: All pups are sold on the condition that they be returned to us if their owners can no longer care for them.
