We are a small breeder, with currently only two females. Using a mix of Puppy Culture and Avidog we breed our pups for show, performance and family pets. In our first year of Murrays being show the following dogs we bred have achieved their titles: Australian Champion Barokamurray Cowboy Tequila (Jojo) DOB 30/11/ 21 Australian Champion Barokamurray Beatingroundtbush (Bea) DOB 30/11/21 Neut Champion Barokamurray River Boy NRA JD (Mo) DOB 19/6/20 Mo earned his Novice RATG title in 4 trials and his Rally Novice title in 3 trials in is currently training for Open RATG and advanced rally. He has won numerous Best Neuter in Group and a few runner up Neuter in Show. Barokamurray Freedom Ride (Hollie) is a therapy dog. Our pups have been successful in the show ring with multiple in group wins and puppy in shows. Our foundation female, Ch Laity Baci (Baci) awarded her show title in December 2022. Barokamurray Shes Country (Riva) earned hers in April 2023. Both girls have been DNA and hip /elbow tested, with very good results. I have been actively involved with dogs in ANKC Obedience since 1989 and Conformation since 1997. Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. All my dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared, raised and maintained on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Australian Champion Barokamurray -Bea is the first female ANKC registered champion Murray River River in the world. She joined the Markable family in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. I hope to help inform people about this intelligent allrounder Australian breed. Bea has taken to conformation showing gaining many Best of Breed and age in group awards. Bea also does Obedience and retrieving trialing. Grantulla Madaoua also known fondly as Medusa is available to the right home she is 12 weeks old. Little Medusa will be a loyal Azawakh with all the traits that make the breed. She is very opinionated and likes to tell you all her thoughts. She is looking to be small like her mother with a quirky little personality. The sire resides in Germany and he excels in shows and Lure Coursing & Racing. The dam has been shown and also gained her first Lure Coursing title this year. In many parts of the world this primitive is categorized as a sighthound, but a rigid interpretation of or strict reliance upon this appellation can lead to confusion and miscommunication. Many of the sighthound type dogs are aloof. But the Azawakh takes it a step further: they are avoidant. They are also highly territorial. Fiercely loyal, they form an exclusive attachment with their master; with strangers, or in unfamiliar situations, they can be extremely reserved, even unapproachable. As with any generalization there are exceptions, but no amount of training or socialization can completely over-ride the primordial distrust and suspicion of 'other' which forms the basis for their reactions to stimuli. With their master and with those they trust, they are independent, playful and gentle. But in every situation they remain alert to the slightest change in their environment.
