Markable is a home based kennel; our dogs are cherished members of the household, making them happy, well socialised family pups and dogs. Living with and the promotion of Curly Coated and Murray River Retrievers; while actively being involved in training Assistance Dogs, competing in Obedience, Retrieving and Conformation Showing is a lifestyle choice. I have been actively involved with dogs and the wonderful Curly since 1997; Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. Markable Curlies are cherished companions; participating joyfully and successfully in Conformation Showing, Obedience, Agility, Jumping, and Retrieving; with titles attained in all disciplines. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. Markable Curlies are used as Assistance dogs and have PAT (public access test) assessment accreditation's. I have successfully trained Markable Curlies as Diabetic and Epilepsy Alert Dogs and for PTSD, ASD and Physical Disabilities. All dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared and raised on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Markable Kurrujong (pictured)) is a trained AD and a School Therapy Dog. We added a Lagotto Romagnolo to our home as a smaller Assistance Dog in 2019. Bassi is a Medical Alert Dog. Bea the Murray River River joined us in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. All my dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared, raised and maintained on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Australian Champion Barokamurray -Bea is the first female ANKC registered champion Murray River River in the world. She joined the Markable family in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. I hope to help inform people about this intelligent allrounder Australian breed. Bea has taken to conformation showing gaining many Best of Breed and age in group awards. Bea also does Obedience and retrieving trialing.
