I have been actively involved with dogs in ANKC Obedience since 1989 and Conformation since 1997. Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. All my dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared, raised and maintained on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Australian Champion Barokamurray -Bea is the first female ANKC registered champion Murray River River in the world. She joined the Markable family in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. I hope to help inform people about this intelligent allrounder Australian breed. Bea has taken to conformation showing gaining many Best of Breed and age in group awards. Bea also does Obedience and retrieving trialing. We are a small breeder, with currently only two females. Using a mix of Puppy Culture and Avidog we breed our pups for show, performance and family pets. In our first year of Murrays being show the following dogs we bred have achieved their titles: Australian Champion Barokamurray Cowboy Tequila (Jojo) DOB 30/11/ 21 Australian Champion Barokamurray Beatingroundtbush (Bea) DOB 30/11/21 Neut Champion Barokamurray River Boy NRA JD (Mo) DOB 19/6/20 Mo earned his Novice RATG title in 4 trials and his Rally Novice title in 3 trials in is currently training for Open RATG and advanced rally. He has won numerous Best Neuter in Group and a few runner up Neuter in Show. Barokamurray Freedom Ride (Hollie) is a therapy dog. Our pups have been successful in the show ring with multiple in group wins and puppy in shows. Our foundation female, Ch Laity Baci (Baci) awarded her show title in December 2022. Barokamurray Shes Country (Riva) earned hers in April 2023. Both girls have been DNA and hip /elbow tested, with very good results. Indy is looking for a place to call her own. She's a beautiful 4 month old puppy bred by Trumyra Australian Shepherds in Qld and is currently in Victoria. She came to Mainstreet to be a show dog but it's been decided she'll be happier as a family pet. Indy is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, is used to a regular grooming routine and is fully vaccinated. She's smart, cuddly and lots of fun and gets on well with other dogs. She recently starred at the Dog Lovers Festival in Melbourne and was quite a hit with the hundreds of visitors there who passed by and stopped at the Dogs Victoria stand. She has no health issues, no allergies and isn't fussy about food. She's going to be a fabulous pet for some lucky family.
