I established Bolwarra Cockers in 1974 and strive to improve this lovely breed. I enjoy the sport of showing and the opportunity to meet many new people in the show environment. I also enjoy my judging assignments which have taken me to every state in Australia and overseas. Our cockers are merry pets first and show dogs secondly. We have bred five Supreme Champions Supreme Champion Bolwarra Rip Tide, Supreme Champion Bolwarra Hat Trick, and Supreme Champion Bolwarra Saint Nick and Supreme Ch Bolwarra Strike Alight and latest is Supreme Ch Bolwarra Spinning Wheel. We are currently campaigning my latest Champion Bolwarra Tunza, Ch Bolwarra Pina Colada, Ch Bolwarra Walks Like An Angel etc We also enjoy encouraging other people into the sport of showing and breeding registered pedigree dogs. You will see my dogs being campaigned by other people with our best wishes for their success. We pride ourselves on producing happy healthy cocker spaniels.

I have been a very successful exhibitor and breeder of other breeds during my 50 plus years in the dog world. I have always ensured if I bred my show dogs, it was to improve the breed. During my exhibiting years, judges would import their stock and place in my care knowing I am a person of integrity, honesty always. I stepped back from exhibiting when I married the love of my life and became absorbed in our Optometry practice. My Hubby knew how much I missed the dog world and purchased our Daisy, so we have a beautiful Golden Cocker Spaniel and her confirmation encouraged me to want to breed her and hopefully produce show quality Cockers.I did my homework and FULL DNA testing to ensure no genetic health issues exist. It will always be my intention to individually DNA ALL puppies ( full DNA, not just parentage) and provide these results to adopting families. We all have to start somewhere and with the help and support of other long term Cocker breeders I'm confident in being successful in breeding this absolutely pleasure to have as part of family breed. Cocker Spaniel breeders based in South Australia, blue roan and orange roan, breeder shows dogs, and our breeding dogs are DNA tested for hereditary diseases. Puppies are bred in a home environment, for consistent type, and good temperament, they make good pets for any discipline. We do take names down for expressions of interest, in our upcoming litter. No puppies planned until 2025.

Chewjep is a small family based kennel situated North of Wagga Wagga in country NSW. We live on a large farming property so our family has plenty of room to run.

We treat all our dogs as family members, they accompany us on many outings. Once retired, they remain with us their entire lives. All of our breeding Cockers Spaniels have been DNA tested for PRA (Eyes)and FN (Kidneys) amongst others to be sure that the puppies will not be affected by these conditions. All the puppies are sold with a Vet Health check, all Wormed, Vaccinated and Microchipped. We also offer ongoing help and support, even after you take your puppy home. All puppies have been supplied with lots of kisses and cuddles too as well as lots of play. Our puppies are well socialised with both human and canine contact. When our puppies go to approved Homes and Owners, they are - Collar trained & Toilet trained, Crate trained and well travelled. The puppies we produce are raised on top quality dry kibble & fresh meat, and every puppy goes to its new home with a useful Puppy Pack as well. All our dogs are also our pets, we don't leave them to their own devises. All our mothers and babies remain inside our home until about 4 weeks of age and have our constant supervision when transferred to our sunroom. When appropriate, we welcome families to come and view our dogs in their natural environment, to see them playing with each other and being natural cocker spaniels.

We are delighted to announce the anticipated arrival of Lagotto puppies from ‘Sara’ and 'Teddy'. These puppies will be available to go to their new homes late November 2024. We currently have a white male available. Here at Rustufarion we are committed to the health of our breeding dogs and understand the importance this has in raising genetically healthy puppies. Our lagottos have been screened for the known and genetically testable disorders evident in the Lagotto. Screening breeding animals prior to breeding will ensure these preventable disorders do not affect your puppy from Rustufarion. Further health checks of our breeding dogs includes screening for Hip Dysplasia. We do everything possible to produce puppies with sound temperaments and confirmation and this has been factored into the selection of a suitable sire for these puppies. For this reason we also raise new born puppies in our home where they receive constant supervision, attention and interaction within a busy home. During the first weeks we focus on raising our puppies within a warm environment and commence neurological stimulation. Our puppies are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW as well as being vet checked and vaccinated, microchipped and come with 6 weeks of puppy health insurance. Three of our lovely lagotto ladies have decided to bless us with puppies before the end of the year. One litter of six has safely arrived and four puppies are currently available. Mums are brown, brown roan and cream and dads are both brown roan so we are expecting a range of colours. Some puppies will be available before Christmas or we can hold on the farm until mid January if you have holidays planned.
