Australian Cattle dogs, especially the red's, have always been in my family and have always resided on the back door step for the past 30 + years. Growing up they were always by our side and often steered us kids away from trouble on the farm. Dad would say that he knew where us kids were, because the dog was there and on many occasions, lucky they were! This breed is one of the most loyal and loving family dogs you could have, but like all working breeds they need family time, attention, training and exercise. Our lines are based on the first Aust Grand Champ Cattle Dog in Qld. We have had four Aust Grand Champion Cattle Dogs in our kennels. Our dogs have won Multiple Best in Show, Group and Breed wins in Specialty, All Breed and Royal Shows. We breed Reds and Blues. Excellent reach and drive consistently in our dogs, dark brown eye colour as per the breed standard. Our dogs show correct cattle dog temperament. Rex has 12 Best in Group wins and unknown number of Reserves in Group. Our dogs win generation after generation, they are time tested and proven. After only light showing during most of 2008 and the first half of 2009 due to health reasons Mark is back in the ring with the dogs and the winning has begun again. Reggie has taken out the 2011 Top Australian Cattle Dog (male) Pointscore winner of ACD&K Club of Qld with Rex being Runner up. Not bad for a semi retired dog! Small private kennel occasionally breeding quality pups for temperament and trainability. All my dogs are companions who join me in dog training classes, conformation shows, obedience trials, fun around the farm and life on the lounge! My aim is to breed sound strong dogs with good conformation and great temperament, that are a pleasure to have around. Pups that can be show champions, obedience winners, working dogs or just great interactive family pets. Quality red and blue pups sometimes available to select homes. All homes screened for suitability. Although space and physical exercise are important, and swimming facilities would be high on a cattle dogs fun things to do list, interactive owners who spend time with, and do things with their dogs are more important. Cattle Dogs are great problem solvers, so mental stimulation is extremely important. If you don't provide it your cattle dog my instigate his own!

This litter was born on the 3rd of October and ready to go to new homes now! The babies are 99% toilet trained, they have amazing temperaments, super smart, adventurous and playful. These puppies have been around different dogs and other animlas. They are very well socialised already and ready to take on the world. Mum Sarah (Australian Champion Orwin Sarah Jayne) has an amazing temperament, very social and just loves everyone. Dad Andy also has an amazing temperament and is quite the successful showman in the dog show ring. We’re thrilled to announce we have a confirmed litter whelped on the 8th of October. This will be our last litter until at least 2026. These puppies will have a mix of low to moderate drive and will be phenomenal family pets. At Whimsily, our aims are to breed for health, temperament and to preserve the beautiful English Setter breed. Our dogs are thoroughly health tested, including hip scores, DNA testing and BAER testing. Our puppies are raised with Puppy Culture to help them reach their full potential as balanced, resilient future dogs. They’ve been exposed to baths, blow drying, clippers and regular nail trims to set them up for grooming in the future. Puppies come registered with Dogs Victoria on the limited registry, which means they cannot be bred from or shown. Owners are required to sign a contract that any puppy on the limited registry will not be bred from.
