Azzabern Kennels has been home to the Bernese Mountain Dog since the early 90's, and have been breeding and showing since 2007. Located near Brisbane, QLD, where we are home to the 1st Supreme Champion Bernese in Australia with another Supreme and Grand Champion dog. We have also bred multiple Australian Champion dogs. Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers.

We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues.

Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit!

I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail.

Please note that I do not sell pups interstate.

Zambuana Lodge is very proud to announce an outstanding new litter of Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies born on the 18th of August 2024. Charna and her 7 girls are doing great with 1 liver-nose girl currently available.
All of our puppies and adult dogs are well socialised and have great personalities and temperaments. Bred for their temperaments and soundness, our puppies are great with children and will make a great new addition to anyone’s family.
We currently have 1 black-nose and 2 liver-nose girls available at this stage.
All our puppies will be on limited pedigree papers, even though they are show quality puppies, we do prefer our dogs to be part of a family environment. Our price includes two vet checks, two vaccinations and their Micro-Chipping, a strict worming program and our health and hereditary guarantee.
