We have been showing and breeding since the early 1980's however we had a break of 18 years and returned once our children left home. Our kennel is based on the lines of German Sieger Pakros d'Ulmental, German Siegerin Karma vom Ochsentor, & the fabulous Ulli von Aurelius. Our Lilli vom Trompetersprung (imp Germany) is the foundation of our kennel. Because we are small, our breeding is highly selective & carefully planned, generations into the future! LAGUARDIA

LaGuardia has been established as a partnership prefix to join Crossfire German Shepherds and Masterton German Shepherds. The first litter bred under this prefix produced the stunning young puppy LaGuardia Ando Legend who is pictured here, (RIP Ando). KASSAAR

“Accredited Breeders” with Dogs Queensland We are a small and select kennel. We believe that the most important aspect of the German Shepherd is temperament. We pride ourselves on not only owning but breeding dogs with excellent temperament that can be part of any family whether with young children or the elderly. Our dogs are all brought up in an environment of being pets first and show dogs second, all our dogs interact well with other dogs, children and in different environments. They are extremely friendly, outgoing and have been easy to train whether obedience or show. Our kennel is slowly growing and we have recently acquired some excellent bloodlines that we did not previously have and now own several imported dogs and bitches. We will continue to add new bloodlines to our kennel, whether through our breeding program or importing new animals, as our aim is to contribute to the betterment of the breed in Australia. We comply with all the guidelines of the Australian National Kennel Council, the GSD Club of Queensland and the Canine Control Council (now Dogs Queensland) by having all our dogs x-rayed for both hips and elbows and breed surveyed. We also ensure that we only use stud dogs of high caliber, good bloodlines and excellent temperament. VONEHRLICH

Vonehrlich Kennels were started by Helen & I in 1974 to breed quality animals for Show and Obedience and this is still our objective. In pursuing this passion we have imported dogs from Germany, including Vasall vom Kirschental,who is one of the best bred dogs to come to Australia and his bloodlines are found behind many current prominent GSD's.Most of our breeding stock is related to this sire. Over the years we have produced many excellent graded dogs including National Bronze Medal winners - Vonehrlich Pasha, Vonehrlich Sonia and a National Reserve Challenge winner - Vonehrlich Elke.We have trialled in the obedience ring to excellent medallion standard. Vonehrlich Sassi was judged Best Intermediate Dog at the 2018 National Show in a class of 39. We are members of the German Shepherd Dog Club Of Qld for over forty five years and abide by their Code of Ethics.I am a past President and Life Member of this Club. We are situated in the Central Highlands of Victoria. We are the breeders of numerous excellent graded dogs specifically Schaeferhund Quintina who was graded EXCELLENT SELECT at a Main Breed Show. SCHAEFERHUND KENNELS RECEIVED THE ERICH ORSCHLER BREEDERS AWARD FOR THE YEAR 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 AND 2014 AND RUNNERUP IN 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Schaeferhund Kennels also qualified for the Gold Medal for passes in the HD scheme and received the Gold Medal at the 2010 National. Schaeferhund Quintina was awarded The Best Bitch Of The Year 2004. Breeding for type, character and trainability from bloodlines proven in competition. Puppies are from DM tested, x-rayed parents and are raised in a home environment with the best start I can give them for a long, sound and happy life. Consideration is given to age-appropriate socialisation from within the whelping box until they leave for their new homes at 8 weeks. Puppies are generally well suited to family homes or a range of competitive sports. The titles earned in competition by my dogs simply show that they are well adjusted, social dogs who are smart enough to learn things which only makes our relationship better and them easier to live with. We have the gold medal from the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia for soundness of hips, and are members of NSW GSDL and Dogs NSW, the German Shepherd Dog Club of QLD, and Dogs QLD. We have been 1ST PLACE NSW BREEDERS OF THE YEAR FROM 2002-2007. Our reputation has allowed us to be entrusted with several international and Australian stud dogs with high reputations.
