Hello There! AASHUDNA is the name behind miniature dachshunds owned by Heather and Mark, located in Scone, in the Upper Hunter, an easy 3-hour drive from Sydney through some beautiful scenic countryside.
We pride ourselves on our vigorous health testing, including IVD x-ray screening, of which our beautiful girl Tara received a perfect score of 0, meaning she shows no signs of IVDD spine degeneration. We also perform full DNA testing, including SDMD and PRA Cord 1, and obtain Vet clearance certificates for patellas, eyes, and cardiac health.
Our motivation is to breed miniature long-haired dachshunds that fulfill their purpose of bringing joy and companionship to their owners, while exemplifying the breed's attributes and predictability. Our miniature long-haired dachshunds are Aust. Champions and are treated as indoor pets, and when they have puppies, they are raised in the common area of our home.
