KISTENWALES

We have been breeding for approximately 35 years. We were initially involved in solid cockers but these days we concentrate on the parti colours and roans. Our dogs are first and foremost our pets with a number of the girls living in the house with us. We have had a successful show career over many years and still exhibit at selected shows with continuing success. We continue to breed occasionally with a strong emphasis on producing good cockers with excellent temperament.

SHELPIN

Shelpin is a home based kennel operated by Shellie Galpin. We are located on the North side of Brisbane. After having loved and treasured the cocker spaniel breed for many years, we decided to venture into conformation showing. Our dogs have certainly held their own, now having Multi Best In Show & Multi Best In Group Winners. 2024 saw our boy Nitro, Neuter Ch Aust Ch Shelpin Aim For The Stars win at The Cocker Spaniel National hosted by NSW, being awarded Best Neuter In Show. A very proud moment. Our puppies are raised in a loving family environment, with stimulation, solicialisation, playing and loads of cuddles. We pride ourselves on temperament, intelligance and soundness. And we offer lifetime support. I have particular emphasis in health testing, all required tests are completed through Orivet. Also included is the AON testing (Adult Onset Neuropathy) Our dogs in family homes have also competed successfully in Noseworks gaining titles. SANTHOME

The bright and merry COCKER SPANIEL is well loved at SANTHOME. We are passionate about quality pure purposefully bred COCKER SPANIELS, intentionally bred for predictability, type, health with welfare in mind. We commenced showing and exhibiting in 1979 with English Setters / German Shorthaired Pointers and German Shepherd Dogs (different prefix since 1983). Our Cocker Spaniels were introduced to the Show and Dog Sports Team in 2016. We recognise sound temperament as the primary functional characteristic to shape behaviour. Along with strictly adhering to the Parent Club breed standards (& ANKC), we carefully choose and nurture the essential traits of intelligence, gentleness, affection, strength and trainable to ensure reliable companions to enhanced leisure, work and family life. KAPOINT

We are a small home based breeder that only breeds 1 -2 litters a year. My dogs are my pets first and foremost. All my dogs are fully health tested and are clear for all genetic diseases. ROMARK

Established in 1953 by Margaret Carter and then joined in partnership by Lyn Mellett in 2003. Romark has a long history in breeding Solid Cocker Spaniels, although in the early days there were some Parti Colours campaigned and bred. One of the more well known Parti Colours was the multi Best In Show winning dog, Black and White AC Trejollie Batswing Beau bred by David Roche and Norm Badman. We currently campaign both Golden and Black Cockers. Breeding is only undertaken when we wish something new to show ourselves and puppies are sometimes available to suitable forever homes. All our puppies are raised in the house and come health checked, vaccinated and wormed. We will not be breeding until 2025 and do not keep a waiting list.

AMITYVALLEY

Amityvalley is a kennel situated in Gippsland Victoria and our beautiful cockers are part of our young family. Our focus is on breeding for excellent health and temperament, ensuring that our puppies grow into healthy, loyal companion dogs. We choose carefully which dogs we select for breeding & breed both solid & parti colours, based on quality bloodlines. All of our Cockers are tested for PRA and FN and their pups will never be affected. We are also in the process of testing our dogs for AON. All dogs come vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and raised with love and care from us and our children. All pups have Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction & Noise desensitisation performed on them as well. This is all in aid of preparing our pups to be suitable for therapy dogs. MILKWOOD

Situated in Carterton, in the Wairarapa region in the lower North Island of NZ I have bred occasional litters of blue roan Cocker Spaniels over the last 25 years, some of which have become Champions in the show ring, some have performed with distinction in obedience and agility, but first and foremost have been treasured pets. Litters are carefully planned incorporating imported lines from the UK and Australia. Bahloo is a small family setup that focuses on breeding quality pedigree pets for our local area. We are passionate about Cocker spaniels, having kept pedigree pets for more than 30 years. I have been a very successful exhibitor and breeder of other breeds during my 50 plus years in the dog world. I have always ensured if I bred my show dogs, it was to improve the breed. During my exhibiting years, judges would import their stock and place in my care knowing I am a person of integrity, honesty always. I stepped back from exhibiting when I married the love of my life and became absorbed in our Optometry practice. My Hubby knew how much I missed the dog world and purchased our Daisy, so we have a beautiful Golden Cocker Spaniel and her confirmation encouraged me to want to breed her and hopefully produce show quality Cockers.I did my homework and FULL DNA testing to ensure no genetic health issues exist. It will always be my intention to individually DNA ALL puppies ( full DNA, not just parentage) and provide these results to adopting families. Our newly established prefix Nocte, will endeavour to breed cocker spaniels that are for the betterment of the breed. Concentrating on conformation and temperament. Our dogs are purebred, pedigreed and all are genetically tested with Orivet and AON tested with hip and elbow scores as best practice indicates is appropriate for this breed. We are currently not able to enter the show ring with our dogs due to the demands of a busy family life with four children, but you may rest assured that any puppies from our kennel will be well socialised with children and other animals and receive the very best of care until they join their forever homes.
