My love of passion for Border Collies started back in1979 while in Europe visiting my auntie Betty whom owned five beautiful elegant loving nature Border Collies. First and foremost our dogs are very much valued members of our family. Our emphasis is on breeding for soundness, conformation and temperament for companion & loyal friends across all disciplines. BALLYANN

Enquiries always welcome. Ballyann are a small kennel in Sydney, Australia, exhibiting, trialling and breeding since 1980. Proud breeders of Conformation and Performance titled Border Collies, Tracie has also campaigned many other breeds successfully over the past 42 years. She is an ANKC (Dogs Australia) licenced judge for the Working, Gundog & Non Sporting Groups, a Junior Handler judge and Convenor of the DOGS NSW Junior Handler Working Party. She is currently a Trainee judge for the Toy Group. Bobanette was the long established kennel of Claude & Robyn McManus, with Peter joining the partnership in 1979. Bobanette was the home of Aust Ch Gotrah Charger & Aust Ch Firelynx Navajho Storm (J04) (imp UK), and they bred many Conformation and Performance titled Border Collies under this prefix. Unfortunately this prefix is no longer in use following the sad passing of Robyn McManus in 2016. Our daughter Kathleen has been involved with exhibiting and Junior Handlers from an early age, handling Border Collies and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We only have a small number of dogs at home at any time and do not breed very often. Our dogs enjoy their lives with us both as competitive show dogs and our treasured family companions. I currently only have 1 border collie - a chocolate female: LittleEden Choc Queen (Kara). She lives on our 1000ac cattle farm enjoying the best life possible for a border collie. Her next litter is currently planned for May 2025, ready to go home around early July. Kara is an absolute sweetheart. Everyone who meets her loves her as she is very gentle, cuddly, quiet, well behaved and she loves all humans. Most other dogs are not as exciting for her. She is an average size with a medium coat. She is an absolute dream to have around and anyone can look after her. She loves the farm but we do not need her as a working dog so unsure of her working ability. She is fully health tested, hip and elbow scored. Puppies come on the limited register (not for showing or breeding, but open to discussion with fellow Dogswest registered breeders) with vaccinations, microchips, wormed, flea treated, well socialised with people and different animals - cat, horses, dogs, cows. Used to loud noises such as trucks and tractors etc. A puppy pack including comfort blanket, Kong toys, grooming items, next worm treatment, black hawk puppy food, information file with pedigrees, photos, health information etc with every puppy (unless sent by air). We strive to breed Border Collies that epitomize breed standards, fit a variety of disciplines and are physically sound, healthy, happy, confident dogs. PUPPIES AVAILABLE 2 Boys remaining At Balexi Border Collies we are excited to embark on this journey of our breeding program to maintain the integrity and beauty of this breed. We focus on the special needs of this intelligent working breed when pairing our babies with their new family. We follow Puppy Culture protocols from birth to prepare puppies to be confident in their environments including early exposure to physical and visual stimuli and household noises and early training such as manding and nose work. Pups will be raised in a family environment, and also be exposed to children and adults, and will have commenced crate training before leaving. Pups will be raised inside our family home, and will be whelped inside. They will have a temperature-controlled whelping area, and then as they get older they will venture outside for them to engage in sensory play and enrichment (obstacle courses, exploration area etc.). All pups will be wormed and vaccinated, and come micro-chipped. Our breeding girl Bailey is tested for all relevant genetic diseases, as has been hip and elbow scored.
