Welcome to Clydebrook Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dogs, located in NE Vic I am proud to be a part of the Clydebrook prefix, founded by my parents Bob and Ness some 20 years ago when they began showing and breeding Airedale Terriers. Over the last 35 years, I have been involved with showing and/or breeding German Shepherd Dogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Golden Retrievers, Airedale Terriers and Working Border Collies. I bought my first Stumpy, Angus, in 2019 to join our working team on our beef farm and from the moment we collected him, I knew this was the breed for me. This led me to seek out a registered Stumpy in 2022 from Bobtailz Stumpies, my foundation bitch, Ch Bobtailz Dixie Moon (Dixie) and I couldnt be happier with her. I intend to uphold the exceptional Clydebrook name by breeding infrequent but quality pups. Breeding only occasionally and only to better the breed. My main focus is temperament. I believe a dogs temperament should be prioritized above everything else. Next is working ability. I believe dogs should be able to perform the duties for which they are bred. This demands properly balanced dogs with sound health and movement. Lastly, the show ring. If the first two priorities are in place, this will follow. All available health testing is used, including hip/elbow scoring and full DNA screening. We aim to produce healthy, happy, confident pups suitable for work, dog sports and the show ring. Puppies may be available from time to time to approved homes only.
