Welcome to Clydebrook Australian Stumpy Tail Cattle Dogs, located in NE Vic I am proud to be a part of the �Clydebrook� prefix, founded by my parents Bob and Ness some 20 years ago when they began showing and breeding Airedale Terriers. Over the last 35 years, I have been involved with showing and/or breeding German Shepherd Dogs, Alaskan Malamutes, Golden Retrievers, Airedale Terriers and Working Border Collies. I bought my first Stumpy, Angus, in 2019 to join our working team on our beef farm and from the moment we collected him, I knew this was the breed for me. This led me to seek out a registered Stumpy in 2022 from Bobtailz Stumpies, my foundation bitch, Ch Bobtailz Dixie Moon (Dixie) and I couldn�t be happier with her. I intend to uphold the exceptional Clydebrook name by breeding infrequent but quality pups. Breeding only occasionally and only to better the breed. My main focus is temperament. I believe a dog�s temperament should be prioritized above everything else. Next is working ability. I believe dogs should be able to perform the duties for which they are bred. This demands properly balanced dogs with sound health and movement. Lastly, the show ring. If the first two priorities are in place, this will follow. All available health testing is used, including hip/elbow scoring and full DNA screening. We aim to produce healthy, happy, confident pups suitable for work, dog sports and the show ring. Puppies may be available from time to time to approved homes only.

We are a small kennel passionate about Reds. Our aim is to play our small part in keeping this amazing and versatile breed alive so it does not disappear into the annals of Australian pastoral history. Our goal is to achieve a lineage of high standard pure breed red ASTCD's with agility, intelligence, speed, stamina and temperament that are suitable for work, show and active lifestyle families.

ALITTLETAIL - I am a small hobby breeder currently concentrating on showing my dogs. I am committed to breeding true to type quality dogs suitable for work, show, dog sports and companionship. All my breeding dogs have had Breed specific DNA profiles done. Results are available on request. All puppies will be: Vet Checked Microchipped Wormed BAER tested for hearing and you will be provided with either Main or Limited ANKC registration papers. When considering an ASTCD for your family, please remember they are not lap dogs, nor are they 'sit at home and wait' dogs. Families with very active lifestyles will be required to give loving, permanent homes to pups of this original and iconic Australian breed. Certified Natural Bobtail on Pedigree They are bred to standard, come from working stock, intelligent and athletic. They will be great for all dog sports, showing, working and companions. My goal is to keep breeding to standard.

Our lovely Gerry Daughter "Bobtailz Blue moon shimma" who just turned 2 years old, will be having a litter soon to a really exceptional quality Dog.. We are excited to breed our 3rd Litter with Temperament being our first priority, followed by Classic Conformation, Balance and a sound trainable, super intelligent mind. We don't just breed for the show ring, we breed to improve the quality of Stumpies, these are Working dogs, they need Jobs to do and a family to protect.
