We are a small home kennel, our dogs are part of our family. We're very passionate about our Schnauzer's, we strive to breed sound, healthy, happy puppies, always with the aim to remain true to the breed standard & true to their correct conformation, but most importantly we focus on excellent temperament. We have beautiful, Pepper & Salt & occasionally Black & Silver puppies available to select forever homes occasionally during the year. Our puppies are bred from quality bloodlines. We have also shown. All our dogs have their eyes checked annually by an ophthalmologist, & are testing clear & have currant PRA certificates. We also genetically test our dogs through Orivet, as we are 100% committed to having & maintaining the best health possible for our dogs. We live in a beautiful rural location, 2 hours north of Perth, our dogs & our puppies have plenty of room to run & play in. We are committed to giving our puppies a wide range of experiences so that they are well socialized, happy, healthy, confident little companions. Before going to their forever homes all puppies are regularly wormed, vet checked, microchipped, & vaccinated. We have a contract of sale, desexing contract & an information brochure, which guides you with feeding, grooming & toileting etc, as well as other helpful tips. We offer ongoing support to our puppies & their forever families.

Our schnauzers are the focal point of our family, and ensuring good temperament and correct type is very important to me. I have been a member of Dogs NSW since 1987 and several dog clubs, Our kennels are Council inspected, Dogs NSW & RSPCA inspected and approved, Many of our dogs have show titles, obedience titles and other training titles and we use our pets as therapy trained dog to visit people in need of a bit of doggie therapy. We believe our dogs are of the highest quality, and our pups are born, breed and raised as loved members of our family. All have beautiful temperaments and have been well socialised with other dogs and people. We are ethical breeders, and we follow the code of conduct set down by Dogs NSW, as well as following the NSW companion animal welfare act and we have been with schnauzer breeding for over 35 years. Our genetic testing assures you of a healthy puppy. All puppies come with a genetic health guarantee and a written health check from our vet and our pups are well on their way to being house trained. When our puppies leave for their forever homes, they have been vaccinated, microchipped, regularly wormed and flea controlled, we provide a written schnauzer guide as well support to answer any schnauzer questions you may have. These gorgeous dogs have been a big part of my life; having grown up with the amazing opportunity to learn from my mother and her experiences in breeding with ANKC for some 30 years. We have done extensive DNA testing in our pedigrees and all are PRA Clear. Additionally, all Sires used in breeding programme have had Bile Tests completed and are therefore also Clear for hereditary Pancreatitis (Liver Shunts).

Ekvar is a small home based kennel dedicated to breeding happy and healthy puppies with sound temperaments and outstanding conformation. We have an absolutely gorgeous Pepper & Salt girl who is looking for her new home due to a change in our circumstances. “Hermione” is a sweet natured, affectionate and loyal girl. She is a gentle and easy-going natured dog and is your little shadow. She likes to accompany you whether it’s doing the everyday chores or down-town to the cafe and is very attentive. Hermione has not had any puppies. She is sold on limited registration with Dogs NSW, meaning not for breeding or show, and is sold subject to our desexing agreement in order to promote responsible pet ownership. She is very well socialised and is excellent around children and adults alike. Hermione is used to other animals too including cats.
