I have owned Aussie Terriers most of my life but I did not become seriously interested in showing or breeding them until the late 1990s. Whilst I have owned blue and tan Aussies, I am now firmly a 'red fan'. I have shown a number of red dogs and bitches to their Australian Championship titles in the last fifteen years or so. My present "line" of Aussies has its origin in 2013 when I was fortunate to obtain a quality bitch from the Cliftop kennels of Sharon Gilkison in northern NSW. Ch. Cliftop Zipping Loose "Lucy". In her lifetime, Lucy produced many quality pups some of whom have gone on to successful show careers and others to loving pet homes. We currently have one of Lucy's pups, Tilly, "Ch. Mittlesista Drama Queen" who is still being shown (although not frequently), with success. Tilly's father was US Gr Ch. Dunham Lake Unanimous Decision, owned and shown in the USA by Theresa Goiffon. We also have "Cliftop Ginnys' Dream at Paxterr". From Ginny's first litter, sired by Stuart (Ch. Mittlesista Smarty Pants) born in January 2022, we have now made up four Aust. Champions. Ginny’s daughter, Oona, Ch. P. Sweet Dreams has recently produced a quality litter of four pups to continue the line. Her son, Ch. P. Pants on Fire", Bruno has had success in the Show ring in the last two years.

My introduction to Australian Terriers was a female, Jill, I acquired as a pet. On her passing I decided I needed another of this wonderful breed and found a lovely male puppy, Hunter, in early 2018. He started me off on the show circuit and we travelled far and wide. He took to it like a duck to water and we had great fun, obtaining his Title in Feb 2019, Ch Tryaterror Hunter. I acquired a lovely bitch from Jean lemon, Ch Lemonlee Singin D Blues, Sadie , in Nov 2019. In early 2020 Ozzieas was approved as my prefix and we had our first litter in late May 2020. I kept two of the pups, Clancy and Matti, to show. Hunter retired after being beaten by his son after shows resumed in 2021. Clancy went on to obtain his Title in August 2021, Ch Ozzieas Clancysgoneadrovin. My first owner bred Champion. Matti withdrew from showing. We had a litter in December 2022 by Matti, Ozzieas Youllcomeawatzing, and a Rebelglen boy, Bertie. She had 7 beautiful boys!! A repeat breeding of Matti and Bertie in Feb 2024, resulted in 10 puppies. We lost three in the first couple of days. 2 girls and 5 boys survived. I have kept a boy, Bluey, and begun showing with him. All my dogs live in the house as family members. I keep the puppies til 9/10 weeks of age to allow for socialising, to check their development, and for worming and vaccination purposes. We have a small acreage so they have plenty of room for exercise. They are raised to be loving and caring animals.
