Clazzic is a small kennel located in the south eastern suburbs of Victoria, after over a decade of learning and being mentored by Capebass kennels we have decided to start also breeding these beautiful dogs.

Our foundation for our kennel comes from the first International Champion Newfoundland in the country, Marvin (Int. Ch. Aust. Ch. Capebass Moccona Classic ROM) while Marvin is enjoying retirement we enjoying watch his daughter Sophie (Ch. Newfashion A Little it Tipsy at Clazzic) grow and hope to breed her in the future.

We were also lucky enough to lease Dior (Ch. Capebass Sign of the Times) for our first litter at the end of 2022 and we are looking forward to her daughters hitting the ring in 2023.
Tilly (Ch. Clazzic There Goes Gravity) has thrived in her home co-owned by Michelle Ramsdale we are lucky enough to have fantastic members of the team and we look forward to her continued success in the future.

Emily can usually be found at any local conformation dog and will always be happy to talk and answer any question.

After falling in love with the breed, we undertook immense research to preserve the breed standard. We hope to contribute to the gene pool in Australia by introducing new lines from Europe. Our focus is producing puppies for showing & pet homes, as we strive for overall soundness alongside health, temperament, and type.

While we are a small kennel based in Melbourne, we do not breed often. However, when we do have a litter, we raise our puppies in our family home using the puppy culture method over a 9-week period. This ensures our puppies head off to their new homes well rounded and confident.

We enter our dogs in conformation showing & have been fortunate to gain 2 x Australian Champion titles.

All of our dogs are health & DNA tested extensively prior to any breeding. Hip & Elbow scoring included.

I have had Newfoundlands in my life for over 35 years.
They roam free on acreage in the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula town of Myponga.
They have access to the house, as Newfoundlands love their people and like to be near them.
As a versatile working breed, they not only compete in the show ring, but do scenting, carting and obedience.

I travel regularly to show my dogs. Winning Best in show at the 2023 NSW Newfoundland speciality show, Runner up in show 2022/2023 Victorian specialty show and numerous group and in show awards around South Australia.

My dogs are extensively health tested. Hips, elbows, DNA for Cystinuria and heart Doppler cleared.
Whilst I only breed occasionally, my pups are raised in a family home environment and are very well socialised before going to their forever homes.

Baywatch Newfoundlands is a small breeding kennel where we aim to breed for soundness and breed type and the sweet Newfie temperament everyone loves.

All of our dogs that we intend to breed from are health tested for hip and elbow dysplasia. We also screen for cystinuria along with heart echocardiogram.

In 2017 we moved our dogs and breeding program from New Zealand to Victoria and have successfully registered our kennel prefix with Dogs Victoria and our team of young girls are enjoying participating in conformation showing.
July 2022 we moved our home and kennels to SE QLD where we hope to educate more families on the wonderful virtues of the breed we love.

Puppies are sometimes available, we welcome visitors and those interested in owning a puppy bred by us to visit and meet us and our dogs (by appointment only) An application form can be provided to those interested in being considered for a Baywatch puppy.
New owners can expect to be welcomed into a community of other very supportive Baywatch Newfoundland owners, owner education is high on our list of priorities and ongoing support is always offered.
