Newfoundlands have been a key part of mine and my husband Gordon's life for the best part of 25 years. We have loved and embraced the breed moulding our lives and home around them. Every single one of them have nurtured and educated me about this wonderful breed who loves nothing more than to share everything they have with their family. Planhaven Newfoundlands was started by the late Mrs Frances Wilson in 1966. Frances was a world renown Newfoundland Breeder & exhibitor of her beautiful dogs. She bred over 200 champions and some of the well known dogs were Edenglen Born Free (Imp USA), Planhaven Thunderbay, Planhaven Thunderdome, Planhaven Moon River, Waterbear’s Winner Takes It All to Planhaven (Imp USA) to name but a select few. Planhaven Newfoundlands now lives on under the guidance of Robyn Parkin.

I fell in love with this breed 25 years ago, the wonderful temperament unconditional love & loyalty. The Gentle Giant Puppies are occasionally available to approved homes. All parents are hip, elbow scored, cystinuria & heart checked before breeding. I regularly show my dogs all over NSW, I enjoy this time with friends & speaking to possible new homes. When not showing my dogs we join our dog walking friends & go on walks & we are often at the lake swimming in summer. I hold regular Puptogether Days with my puppy owners where we enjoy swimming with our dogs talking all things Newfie & enjoying each others company. Potential new homes are welcomed by everyone, its a great opportunity for those interested in owning a puppy bred by Newflabel to join the extended family to ask questions & see our beautiful breed in their element. We are very happy to announce the arrival of five beautiful puppies - four girls and one boy - born on 12th December. They will be ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks of age - from 6th February 2025. Our puppies are wormed fortnightly from 2 weeks of age are vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked for health, and registered with Dogs Australia at 6 weeks of age. They go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age with their pedigree certificate from Dogs Australia. Our puppies sell for $3,500 (inc GST) on the Limited Register with Dogs Australia (pets only) or $4,500 on Main Register (no restrictions on breeding or showing).
