Connie comes from Grand CH Sharbae Rose of Tenarda (UK) (IMP UK) who herself comes from a strong line of champions in all areas in the UK. Southwest (Bluewing Chesapeakes) breeder of Chesapeake Bay retrievers for hunting show or as family dogs. As a keen hunter of Duck and Quail I like to see these dogs working in the field, and I love the attention they get from other people when working. All of my CBR's have had success throughout the respective seasons in NSW SA and VIC. My dogs travel with me hunting and as companions where ever possible including to my work place every day and as such are well socialised. Living on property they are regularly exercised in field work, swimming and socialised with other animals.
Teal has been featured in the 2022 Beretta Calendar and other publications as well as having a successful hunting season.
I also have a prodigy of the 2022 litter you can see and meet.

While these dogs are loyal and keen hunting dogs who work well in extreme conditions, they are social animals, if hunting is not your taste I am just as happy to see my pups go to a good home and family.

Our love for this breed starts over 30 years ago with the purchase of our first Chessie, Hayley. She soon showed us what a wonderful breed the Chesapeake Bay Retriever is and we have loved them ever since.
We live in Seville East in the beautiful Yarra Ranges which is perfect for swimming in our dam and romping in the bush.
Marley (Aust Ch. Crowlee Just Imagine) has left her mark with a very successful show career and so far is the dam of several show champions and field and obedience dogs.

Breeder of the 1st live litter of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers in Australia. Having imported the 1st bitch into this country with Hank and Betty Dobrowolski- 1st female titled Cheasapeake Bay Retriever in Australia and the dam of the 1st Chesapeake Bay Retriever to win a Best in Group in this country. Winning BIG at Brisbane Royal and following it up with 2 more BIGs under international Gundog Specialists - "Rebel" epitomised the quality and character of this great breed.

Many "Tenarda" CBRs have achieved success in several fields of endeavour. Tragically 2009 saw the loss of our beautiful leading lady "Aust Ch Tenarda Firefly" - "Lulu".(Pictured)

In late August 2010 Crowlee No Regrets "Tilly" joined our K9 family and caught the eye of judges in very short order - it will be interesting to see what 2012 holds for "Tilly" and myself as she prepares for motherhood.

2011 saw the arrival of a new little lady - "Brandy" debuted in late March and she is a fun dog to show and is well on her way to her title - special thanks to John and Dan Stafford for this great girl.

2011 also saw the arrival of "Tyler" - Aust Ch Stormbay Pacific Privateer (Imp NZ) and we are grateful to Denise Crowley for letting this fun loving boy come into our lives. 2018 sees him living in retirement amongst his K9 Ladies.

Our Sharbae Rose of Tenarda (Imo UK)(Rose) arrived out of Quarantine 17/06/18 and has quickly made and impression winning JIG just 6 days after joining us. Watch this space!!!!
