We have been exhibiting, working and breeding Labrador Retrievers for nearly 20 years, and more recently we have added our Flat Coated Retrievers. Home to champions in both Retrieving and Conformation, we breed for temperament, soundness and conformation. All our puppies are raised in the family home, come with a lifetime of support and meet all health testing requirements.

We have owned Flatcoated Retrievers since 1982 and bred our first litter in 1985. Our own dogs have successfully competed in obedience, agility and conformation disciplines. Our current breeding stock is based on our imports from kennel Black Brianta in the Czech Republic, with our current stud dogs being "Cappy" (NZ Ch Extraordinary Black Brianta) and our young dog "Legend" (Legendary Black Brianta). Cappy has gained several placings in agility and obedience from very few outings as our main focus is on breed showing where he has gained multiple class in group, best and reserve in group awards. Legend arrived in February 2023 at 10 months of age and promptly won Best on Parade from 50+ entries at Manawatu and then Puppy in Show at both Taranaki Gundog Club and Hawkes Bay Kennel Association champ shows. He has gained several group placings since including Junior of Group at the Prelude Show in Auckland. These young dogs excite us as they are just getting better and better. Our next litter is planned for the end of 2024 from which some puppies may be available. The sire will be Legend (imported from Czech Republic) and the dam will be Lennie (NZ Ch Alenka of Annaglyn). This is the only breed we breed, as this is our passion. We have had Flat Coats since 1990 and been breeding since 1999. Home of 7 Grand Champions and 30 Australian Champions. We boast all breeds BEST IN SHOW winner, Gr Ch Flatterhaft Steal Or Borrow (imp swd), 10 BEST IN GROUP WINNERS and 13 Class in show winners. We only breed when we plan to keep something for ourselves to go on with, not to supply the puppy market, however we only keep the best one or 2 puppies for ourselves and the rest are available to the very best of pet homes or working, very occasionally to a show home. All dogs are hip/Elbow and eye tested before being bred with, and we proudly say we only breed with any one bitch 1-3 times, they then either become our pets or go to a very special home to just be happy well loved dogs. All of our breeding dogs are proven in the show ring.

She was Brisbane Royal BoB in her first show and went on to gain her Championship title easily. Luna attained 13 ANKC titles across 6 disciplines (Conformation, Obedience, Rally Obedience, Scent Work, Retrieving & Endurance). Brew (Dual Ch (TS) Grand Ch (TS) Malunbea Disorderly Conduct CCD ET SWV SWM SWI SWC SWX) is demonstrating he not only has outstanding good looks and temperament but very clever with 15 titles in Scent Work, Obedience, Track and Search, and Endurance. Our little Kiwi (Dual Ch (TS) Arangold Backup Plan Imp NZL SWE ET) is not far behind with earning Endurance, Track & Search and Scent Work titles between motherly duties. Miss Star, the baby of the team, is coming along nicely having gained her Show Champion and her first Scent work title. With her linage and smarts she has an exciting future ahead. ****** WE ARE TAKING ENQUIRIES***** Whilst primarily breeders of Golden Retrievers we are enjoying a little diversion into Flat Coats.Our first litter along with Abbey's Arangold litter in NZ has already resulted in 6 Champions, a Royal BOB winner and a CCD RN and CD. Abbey Rose won BOB at the Brisbane Royal Show in 2019 and then had her final litter to Almanza Double Action Dark Kiss (Imp Sweden). Abbey has so far 7 Champions to her name including "Aust Supreme Ch Alubyc The Artful Dodger" We have a litter planned fo late 2024. We are excited to announce the arrival of our first Ace and Luna litter, born 2nd August. All black/white, we have 1 male and 1 female left ready for their new homes now. They are well loved and socialised puppies, brought up in a family environment. All puppies are vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and DNA screened. Inaword Border Collies are delighted to announce that we have puppies available. We have chocolate and white and black and white males and females currently available. We are a small breeder located in Mansfield at the foot of Mt Buller in NE Victoria. Our dogs are a part of our family and live on the farm not in kennels. They are well socialised with other animals and have good herding instincts. All our adult dogs are all DNA tested clear with full breed profiles so all pups bred by us are clear of any genetic diseases that can affect our beautiful breed. We are pleased to announce our next litter due December 2024 by Bestbuddies Prionnsa Merle out of Brackenvue Luna Eclipse. Colours expected are black and white, blue merle, chocolate merle and chocolate. Parents have had full genetic testing done through Orivet so puppies can be guaranteed to be free from any genetic diseases associated with the breed.
