I have been breeding and showing for more than 50 years, initially with Bull Terriers (English) under the Dantaro prefix I shared with my husband and since 2004 under TapDogs which I share with my daughter. Papillons have been with our family now for over 45 years. We enjoy watching these beautiful butterflies play and breed for quality not quantity. Our dogs have been DNA profiled and have tested Clear for von Willebrands Type One (1) disease, PRA 1 and NADS. We endeavour to only breed with DNA tested dogs. We believe that not only should our dogs be genetically cleared of disease but also be healthy in body and mind. We regularly have our dogs accessed for luxating patella’s which is also clear. To us health is paramount. Our dogs have been successful in the conformation ring, performance ring and of course in the home environment making amazing pets and therapy dogs. We welcome enquiries and occasionally have puppies and older dogs available to loving families and homes.

Our family lives in a rural area where we enjoy our animals large and small. Breeding is rare and we love our pets as family members, so when planning a mating all care and consideration is made to the welfare of the parents as well as the puppies including beyond their first 8 weeks. Home is of utmost importance for any puppies. Puppies will be raised in the home environment around other animals and small (but caring) children. We endeavor to match puppies to loving, forever homes, however we remain an option to assist if things don't go to plan.

I am a breeder of Papillons for both companion and show in the Illawarra of NSW. My foundational dogs are bred down from fabulous Australian kennels which also include a number of well accomplished dogs from abroad in the pedigrees. I raise my puppies with Puppy Culture protocal and ensure to set them up for a busy and fulfilled life in your family. I welcome enquiries from those wanting a pet or a show dog. We are VERY proud of the quality of our pups and wish the owners of our pups success in the Show Ring. There are two varieties in this breed the down eared variety or Phalène and the up-eared variety or the Papillon. Both these varieties are seen through out Australia and in a number of Kennels. We are trying very hard to bring the down eared variety back into favour as this type almost died out some time ago.Since this was the original variety and our heritage this would have been a crime, so many of us are actively involved in breeding this variety back. Our breed has many things in its favour, the small size, no doggy odour, easy to manage coat, intelligence. To name a few things. If you think you are a person that would like to own one of these beautiful dogs from our kennel you will need to put your name on a waiting list as I do not breed often.
