I have been directly involved with the Bernese Mountain Dog breed since 1992 - breeding, showing and carting. My breeding philosophy has been based in a strong commitment of ongoing improvement with a focus on longevity from proven lines demonstrating good health, temperament and soundness.

My aim is to produce quality Bernese companions, starting from my early English foundation lines carrying proven longevity, along with screened imported breeding stock of European decent with more than 2 decades of hip, elbow and temperament accredited testing.

NOTE: We (along with all other breeders) are inundated with people contacting us for puppies. It may take me a while to reply, even up to a few months. I own a business and have two young kids. Breeding is something I do in my spare time, which I don’t have much of so please be patient.

Valkirie is home to beautiful Bernese who are of excellent health and sound temperaments. All of our dogs are hip and elbow scored and health tested.

We are a small kennel where our dogs are much loved members of the family. True to the breed, our Berners are social, loyal, affectionate, confident, fun loving and above all healthy dogs who bring nothing but joy to our lives. We have no doubt our pups will bring the same joy and happiness into the lives of their new families too.

Our home is made up of two Bernese, Fallon and Saxon, a Chocolate Labrador, Freya, a cat, Jynx, lots of chickens and two little (human) boys. Our puppies are raised in our home, offered many social and habitual experiences before leaving for their new homes and only the best of homes will be considered for our babies.

UPDATE : Puppies were born on 25th September - 5 males, 5 females. They are now 6 weeks old and have been microchipped and had their first vaccinations. The majority of the pups are Fawn, with white trim, along with a couple of Blue Brindles, with white trim. Currently from my latest litter which were born on 21.08.24 and are available now I will have one boy and one girl available to forever loving homes on the Limited Registrar of Dog's NSW.
