I am an ANKC breeder registered with Dogs Victoria.

We do not show our dogs, as our purpose for owning and breeding is to share the experience of owning a Bernese, as they are truly our much loved family pets.

Our puppies are all handled by our 4 children aged primary through to secondary school age.

Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers.

We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues.

Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit!

I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail.

Please note that I do not sell pups interstate.

Meligjoy Italian Greyhounds is a shared Prefix between Joyce McKenna and myself and we are Registered breeders with ANKC and we are based in Queensland.

We are seeking expressions of interest for Gemma - our beautiful black female Italian Greyhound puppy.
Gemma was born on Friday 3rd May 2024.
Gemma's Mum is the very pretty Raven - Aust Ch. Galig Midnight Chesa de Medici.
Her Dad is Nolan - Aust Ch. Nolan Sunnymoon Place - a lovely little Ukraine import who was lucky enough to leave his mother country just a few weeks prior to the Russian Invasion.
Both parents have attained Australian Championship titles.
They have been DNA profiled.
All of our puppies are bred in accordance with the ANKC registration requirement for purebred dogs.
Our dogs are part of the family. Puppies are whelped in the lounge room and are reared in the house.
They are raised according to Puppy Culture principles.
They are accompanied by a comprehensive Puppy Pack, 6 weeks Insurance cover and Lifetime support.
They will be DNA profiled for proof of parentage, wormed, vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and registered with Dogs Queensland Limited Register. (You will receive pedigree "papers").
This registration gives you the ability to participate in Obedience and Agility Competition.
Our puppies are toilet trained to an indoor system.
