At Cloudforest our aim is to produce strong, healthy and typical Bernese. Our dogs are family members who enjoy an active lifestyle on the mountain slopes of Tasmania. Cloudforest is home to multiple champions & Best In Show winning stock. Carol is an accredited to allbreeds judge. Our waiting lists are currently rather long, we suggest people looking for puppies should enquire in their own state, and be prepared to wait for the right puppy.

*PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME* Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers. We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues. Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit! I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail. Please note that I do not sell pups interstate. We do not show our dogs, as our purpose for owning and breeding is to share the experience of owning a Bernese, as they are truly our much loved family pets.
