LaFamilia is a small DogsNZ Registered breeder located in Auckland, New Zealand. Boston Terriers have been a part of our lives for 10 years and counting. Our Boston Terriers are family members first & foremost. We strive to breed healthy, correct dogs of good type and temperament, our long term breeding goal is to establish LaFamilia to be a Preservation Breeder of Boston Terriers. All dogs in our breeding program are DNA tested for: JHC - Juvenile Hereditary Cataracts Airway Distress Syndrome (ADAMTS3) Degenerative Myelopathy Additional health testing: Patella (graded annually) BOAS Functional Grading (bi-annually) Heart Echocardiogram Full Ophthalmic Examination We breed selectively for improvement in our breeding program, we believe quality, over quantity.
