Canicula Kennels' breeding programme is based on pure working line Spaniels bred for their natural ability for hunting and performance in the field. In our breeding we concentrate on superior temperaments with a correct balance of drives using the finest overseas and local lines available. Our dogs excel in traditional gundog Field and Retrieving disciplines, as well as non-traditional dog sports like Agility. Their high drive together with an easy, willing dependable disposition makes them a perfect choice for Service Personnel, Government Agencies, or Professionals working in the scent detection field. A lot of the same qualities like sound stable temperament, and trainability that we revere in our working dogs are equally as important in pets making them suitable for active pet homes.
