I have owned Cardigan Corgi's since 2022 im a Small time breeder with the mentoring from Afonwen kennels for the old fashion values breeding for quality, type and great outgoing temperament. Founded in 1965 as Rerehau Cardigan Welsh Corgis, then changed to the globally recognised COPPERLEAF prefix in 1977. Breeding and showing Cardigans for 42 years and exporting to 8 countries, Copperleaf Cardigans became known for their high standard and excellent winning and breeding performance in NZ and lands far beyond. After a 13 year break away from the dog fancy, in 2019 I returned to the breed, importing quality breeding stock from long established winning bloodlines in Australia. Parents are both Australian Champions and have excellent temperament. Dam is Ch. Nagemlace Warmth of Winter "Vienna" and Sire is Ch. Kalora Zees Easy on the Eye "Tux". This pup has a lovely temperament and has been socialised making him suitable for homes with children and other animals. A beautiful litter of 9 puppies, born on the 12 July 2024. To a wonderful mother - Plantation Fantasy Princess.
Sire is very well known NZ CH Carddicted Journeyman (Imp Sweden) owned by Wendy O'Callaghan.
There are 5 boys and 4 girls.
The puppies come from talented parents. Princess participating and enjoying Conformation showing, Rally-O, Jumpers, and visiting Rest Homes as a Canine Therapy Dog. Hunter- puppies Dad, is found playing practical jokes on his family, and loves chasing a broom.
Puppies will be ready for the new chapter in their lives in new homes after 14 Sept.

Torrya Corgis has a delightful Tri-colored Cardigan Welsh Corgi puppy looking for her forever family.

Two Litters expected Early August, 2024 and 1 planned for Mid September (possibly spoken for if small litter number). Brindle, Tricolours, Merles.
Parents have been breed panel DNA tested and progeny will not be at risk for DM and PRA. We are here to support our homes and take back any dog, at any stage throughout life, if needed. We're about right homes first time around and endeavour to place pups once, and well.

Puppies are whelped and raised within the family home using protocols from several puppy raising programs, tactile learning exposure opportunities, experiences and interactions. Puppies leave us at 9 weeks old on average. We adapt for each litters' requirements and progress is available to view on our Facebook page/group updates.
