Akeela Tibetan Mastiff Kennels is located in the lovely Queensland country town of Bundaberg, fours hours north of Brisbane and we currently (as at October 2028) have a litter of pups in Melbourne Vic.

ATMK prides itself on producing TMs that are physically healthy as well as being sound in temperament. We deliberately choose to not breed off dogs that are mentally unstable or unpredictable.

Its fair to say each dog has its own physical structure. Some dogs have structural issues, some have genetic based issues. At Akeela, as per Dogs Victoria regulations, we ensure that we always breed towards the improvement of the breed standard. For example if the Sire has a breed average hip/elbow score, the Dam will have a score of that or better to ensure our progeny improve.

Prior to allowing our pups to go to their new homes, we make absolutely sure that you, as the new owner, are provided with as much knowledge as we can impart to ensure you & your puppy are well suited and have a happy life together - forever. The fact is, TMs don't re-home well, and divorce is not a part of a TMs vocabulary.

We encourage you to ensure you do your homework on this breed as it is not a breed for everyone nor for every circumstance. There are a variety of secondary sources (internet, books etc) that are very helpful but direct breeder contact provides the best results by far so please don't hesitate to call us 0402476847.

We have two Tibetan Mastiff female pups remaining to be matched with loving families and they're located in Melbourne Victoria. This prestigious mountain breed originates from Tibet, and has been documented as far back as 1,100 B.C. (~3,000 years).

Pawlee Gyalwang (Sire) and Akeela Lhamo (Dam) are pedigree TMs with calm, loving personalities. They are regular hug bears with the town folk, when on their walks. These pups are loving furballs that will warm your feet and heart in winter and always ready for cuddles when you most need it. They are most affectionate around children and will seek lots of pampering.

Note: You will need to fill out a puppy application to ensure a right match between family and your future family member. Not for cross-breeding or backyard breeding.
