We are a small kennel just outside Christchurch who have been involved in Staffords for 33 years. It wasn't until Morgan (BISS Renegade Apache Brew) joined my family in 2006 that I decided to enter the show ring. The rest is history. In that time Morgan became a New Zealand Champion and Best in Speciality Show winner - I was hooked. We sadly said goodbye to Morgan far too soon in 2014.
We have showed 3 of Morgan’s offspring which produced 3 New Zealand Champions, two of whom became Best In Show winners.

We now have 2 stunning boys from Hammystaff Red Revenge & Oakamoor Daydream Believer
Oakamoor Revenge of Dreams and Oakamoor Divine Revenge both doing well in the show ring.
We sometime have puppies available when we are breeding for ourselves.
All our dogs are L2-HGA & HC Cleared.

I started breeding Staffordshire Bull Terrier in the 1990s.
All my Staffords have the sweetiest naturers and are great obedience and agility dogs.
My puppies are house raised with children who give them lots of cuddles (we all need them) They come with a Full Vet health check, vaccination, microchipped wormed, de-flead and a puppy food pack and a wonderful Information booklet on raising your puppy.
I have been an active Northern Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club Committee member where I have also held the Vice President position.
I am qualifed in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing and also Rural Vet Technican, which helps me to hopefully help answer any questions in regards in the healthly raising of any puppies sold from my Kennel.
Puppies sometimes available for pet /show homes.
DNA testing ensures that puppies will not develop Juvenile Cataracts.

Here at Valleyriver Kennels we are expecting two litters to arrive mid Sept so pups will be available for their new homes mid November which is perfect timing as they will have had all their vax and be ready for adventures in time for the holidays!. Girls love doing these things together and Lola and Tia are proving this right once again. Lola is a red mated to a red sire so all her puppies will be red. Tia is a very dark brindle mated to a brindle sire so most of her pups will be very dark but she may have one or two reds. Both mums and dads are Valleyriver dogs that are DNA tested clear and their families known going back many generations with each mating planned carefully over the years to produce what we believe is the best combination of temprement, health and conformation. We have a public FB group that is open to all. We also have a private FB group just for our puppy families which is a great community of Stafford loving people! When the puppies are born there will be a FB group for each litter where I will post photos and vidoes almost every day so you will see your puppy within minutes of being born right up to when they are ready to join your family at 8 weeks of age.
