We at Tsukiyo Shiba Inu are doing our very best to breed Shiba Inu for the conformation show ring. Importing many quality shiba lines, following the standard written by ANKC and aspiring to the standard put down by Nihon Ken Hozonkai

Every shiba we have has been health tested to a very high standard. We are very proud of our breeding program and have produced some stunning puppies for us to show and for our families to own as great examples of the breed.

Our babies are raised in our home, well socialised with our children and cat! They are exposed to lots of socialising environments and trained to sleep in crates from 6wks old. Begin toilet training with different trays and mats indoor. Also outdoor on grass from a young age! Lead trained and some puppies have had lots of show training also. We believe that helps in raising a more rounded shiba.

Since our induction to the breed 30 years ago back in 1993, we have since IMPORTED a total of 14 Shiba Inu directly from Japan. All of which were personally selected by both Shiba Specialist & All breeds Judge friends in Japan for our Sherae kennels breeding program.

With this it has been possible to maintain our own recognised & TRUE JAPANESE TYPE, and lines over all that time. This has also enable us to keep any breed problems to a minimum.

We are also pleased to advise that in respect of the breed & what it is, that we also carry all colours that are recognised by NIPPO / JK.C / U.K. KENNEL CLUB / & ANKC.

Akakumo Kennel have owned and shown Shiba Inus for several years. We are also registered kennel with Japanese Dog Preservation Society (Nippo). We closely follow the Japanese Nippo breed standard and have been mentored by experienced Nippo breeders over the past a few years. In 2017, we proudly imported Nippo award winner stud dog and a Nippo bitch to our kennel.

Hitotsu Shiba Inu is excited to announce our new litter of three beautiful red girls, born 28 August, 2024.

These gorgeous little ladies are full siblings to Hitotsu Akiko (who is pictured with one of her Class in Group rosettes).

Akiko is doing exceptionally well in the show ring already, taking out five Class in Group awards and five Best of Breed (as a Minor) in just six shows! She has now also taken out a Best Minor in Specialty Show win to add to her accolades.

We expect these three little ladies to follow in Akiko's paw-steps if they are placed in a show home, but all enquiries are welcome.
