All dogs campaigned are winners at the upper lever of competition, a testament to their correct type, sound body and temperament. All my dogs have been ACES eye tested as having normal eyes and unaffected CEA/CH, adults are rechecked by an ACES ophthalmologist. All current dogs are genetically clear of all DNA conditions tested for except 1 dog being a carrier of CEA/CH, all are genetically clear of MDR1, DM, PRA, VWDIII, GBM etc. Shelties at Deerod have won Best in Show awards at both Specialist & All Breeds level for almost 50 years. All puppies are CEA/PRA tested and adults DNA tested.

At Seafrey Shelties our dogs are much loved members of our family. We enjoy spending time with them walking, training (obedience, rally, agility, nose work, conformation), and just hanging out. We don't plan to breed often, but when we do breed we invest a lot of time and effort into the planning of the litter and ensuring our puppies are reared with evidence-based protocols and provided with appropriate early socialization opportunities to set them up for a life where they can realize their full potential.
