Mastdoch was founded by Peter & Karen Docherty who first imported a Mastiff from Bredwardine Kennels in 1992 from the UK. Over the years we have produced multiple Best In Show and Best in Group winners (all breeds Champ level).
We breed and exhibit all 3 colours. All of our breeding dogs are health tested for cystinuria, PRA, CMR1, DM and are hip and elbow scored.

Located in beautiful Port Stephens, half an hour north of Newcastle. We will only breed from healthy, sound animals that are health tested as we attempt to breed for soundness and correct Mastiff temperament and type. All our dogs are happy, well adjusted and live with us in a family environment.

Dachshar Kennels presently have available a liver and a black spotted male, and a black spotted female from our latest litter born on 28th March (therefore they are just over 15 wks old).
Michelle has owned Dalmatians since 2002. She commenced showing and breeding this magnificent breed, who possess both elegance and grace in movement and loads of charm in 2010. During this time she has enjoyed great success in and out of the ring under the Adstaff prefix, and has always prioritised breeding healthy examples of the breed who also have outstanding dispositions.
She is most excited about this litter as it provides the opportunity for her to continue within the breed that she has invested so much blood, sweat and tears into due to the very generous gifting of Audrey and the support of her youngest son in allowing us to have a unit of semen from his well performed Frankie, following a marriage breakdown but also because she has the opportunity to have a piece of her all time heart dog back.
