Graebelge is a small exclusive kennel proudly specialising in quality Belgian Shepherds with emphasis on health, construction and true Belgian temperament. Being a well established and respected breeder with over 20 years experience in the breed, we willingly share the expertise we have gained from importing, breeding, exhibiting and owning this outstanding breed with all Belgian lovers. Graebelge Belgian Shepherds are truly versatile dogs with the ability to perform exceptionally in all competitive fields whilst being devoted and loyal companions at home. Breeding selectively enables us to research our lines meticulously and our planned matings continually strive to improve the quality of our Belgian Shepherds whilst specialising in Tervueren and Groenendael ensures that we have the intimate knowledge essential to continue to produce outstanding specimens of each variety. Our Belgian Shepherds share our home and our lives, and give us much fun and pleasure. Graebelge Belgians incorporate the best bloodlines available in Europe and are health tested prior to breeding. Our puppies are whelped and reared lovingly in our home and extensively socialised to ensure that they develop into happy, well-adjusted adults. They are available to loving homes and are registered with the VCA, micro-chipped, vaccinated, wormed and come with life time advice and support. Our dogs are bred to be all rounders from family pets to top winning show dogs. We are a small kennel and all orders for puppies are taken in advance.

Since 1983 my love of the Belgian Shepherd has introduced me to the world of showing and breeding some beautiful dogs, and also being involved in the welfare (rescue) of this very special breed, both in the UK and here in Australia. My first BSD was a groenendael, the very special 'Vanistica In a Whirl', and was a wonderful introduction to Belgian Shepherds. I breed the Tervueren and Malinois varieties of the Belgian Shepherd Dog but always have a Groenendael male by my side, and the gorgeous Milan (Ch Mirribandi Quiet Storm at Belengere HT) is my black dog in residence! I breed primarily for the purpose of improving the quality, health, welfare, soundness and working ability of this beautiful breed in accordance with the FCI breed standard. The BSD may show promise for a range of dog sports, such as conformation (showing), and other activities families might enjoy with their dogs, such as herding, lure coursing and obedience.

Firebright have exciting news!!! We have not one, but two litters due!!! The first due on 24th November 2024, and the second on 3rd December 2024. Sire for both litters is Australian Champion Aeestate Aether, the dam for the first is Australian Champion Firebright Blue Destiny. The dam for the second litter is Australian Champion Firebright Midnight Symphony. Both dams are daughter's of USA Champion Scandifio's Baloo Bear of Sophia, from the famous Scandifio kennel. Both the sire and both dams, were 2023 Royal Show winners. They all three, have amazing temperaments, and excellent Hip & Elbow scores.
