At Sunniebelle we don't cut corners or spare any expense to bring high quality puppies into the world.
We are a fully registered breeding establishment adhering to the highest standards in luxury conditions for the benefit of families, adult companionship, or professional showing. Even though bred as pets, our pups are high quality from a brilliant heritage of champions: English and European lines - you'll have the registered pedigree papers to prove it.
We honour the traditional true Airedale breed, using the highest of ethical standards and we stay current with our knowledge, research and the science of breeding. Mother and pups are fed certified organic raw and home cooked foods.
Airedales are known for many features, especially: brilliance with children; non shedding strikingly attractive coat; and fun loving personality even well after maturity...and much more. They are, however, active watch dogs who thrive on regular outdoor exercise - though they are content to chill in between multiple walks. Our pups are bred as indoor house dogs destined to be part of family life.
We mostly encourage desexing after twelve months of age because we hold that this optimises the pup's development.

We are closely linked with KARUDON and AVODEN kennels in the UK, both having over 30 years of sound breeding history. Our UK import Eng/Aus. Ch. AVODEN Shooting Star "Klondike" has been used at stud in the UK and Australia with excellent results. Klon's hip score is 5:5 and all our breeding stock are hip-scored and selected for temperament, soundness and type. Whilst we exhibit and make champions we accept that most Airedales are family pets and companion dogs. As such, they must be healthy, happy family members - and beautiful as well! Cottingley Airedales commenced in 2001 with the importation of Ch Arwen vom Sachsenborn after holidaying in Europe where we fell in love with the temperament and conformation of German Airedales. Arwen's lineage is from a working class line but her Sire, Gaylord vom Norden won Best in Show in Hamburg against some 3000 dogs.
Arwen commenced her show carreer winning BOB at the Adelaide Royal in 2004, 2006 and Challenge Bitch 2005 and 2011. We have since bred two litters with Arwen's offspring, Ch Cottingley Mr Lincoln (Challenge Dog Adelaide Royal 2008 and RuBOB 2011), Ch Cottingley Mr Dudley ( Puppy of Breed Adelaide Royal 2010 and BOB 2011) and Scarlet Fire (Ally) all obtaining their show championship titles.
Puppies from Ch. Cottingley English Violet / Ch Tjuringa Quite So were whelped in November 2018.
Both Ch. Cottingley Marigold Sweetdream and Cottingley Red Rascal won Baby Puppy in Group awards at their first shows and have obtained their Championship titles
Our dogs are first and foremost our pets who have the 'run' of the house, being "indoor dogs" who manage to find the air-conditioning vents on hot days. We strive to breed Airedales with good temperament whilst maintaining correct breed standard and the Airedale spirit.
All puppies are registered with Pedigree Papers ( Main Register), vaccinated, wormed, micro chipped.

The puppies have been raised in our home, they are well accustomed to children, and other dogs. I do extensive de sensitising with the puppies eg: thunderstorms, vacuums, hair dryers, car travel, and they are crate trained, the puppies are mostly house trained, we start them on the grass toilet.
They are wormed every two weeks with Milbemax this also covers heart worm. He will be almost through his vaccination protocol C3 at 6 weeks and his C5 at 10 weeks. The puppies can go after 2nd vaccination.
The puppies have been health checked .
he will come with 6 weeks insurance with Petcover, and I will transfer the micro chip into your name.
