Pekingese were our first breed since 1990. Our first girl, Aust Ch Nadyor Penny Tu, now deceased, took out Best of Breed at the Sydney Royal at the age of two years old.

Zhen Kennels has moved with me from Australia to Hong Kong to the US and back again. We specialize in heritage colours, such as black and tan and self-coloured cream, which are getting harder to find these days. Zhen The Cleverman is a "flame-faced" black and tan (see photo) and his half-brother, Zhen the Explorer, are available to approved bitches.
We are expecting a few litters this year (please check here or our website for details of puppies or older dogs available).
Our dogs also have typical Pekingese temperaments and beautiful breathing! Dr Hilary du Cros (owner) first started in Pekingese at 10 years old and has owned and bred pekingese over many years.

I’ve extended my show team with Pekes from a long time and respected breeder Miyoko. Since showing my Pekes my first girl Ishka gained her champion title at only 10mths with winning many BOB, class in group wins and 2 junior in show wins. My very first homebred boy Azar has picked up 8 baby of breeds, 4 baby in groups and 3 baby in shows. I’m only a small kennel in Tasmania and only breed to extend my show team and will sometimes have babies available to approved loving homes.
