The 2005 The Best of Breed at Brisbane Royal with our Ch. Weirskints Brighid Roo. In all breeds shows they have achieved in show Best in Group and in group awards. The Puppies are bred for type, temperament and soundness. Their sweet nature will make them excellent family pets. We have been showing and breeding hounds since 1972. In 1988 we acquired our first Borzoi followed in 1989 by a Deerhound. Due to business commitments, we exhibit our dogs only sparingly. Despite this our Deerhounds have done well in the showring. In 1994 we imported frozen semen from Fernhill Deerhounds in Canada and, in 2006, a Deerhound from Thistleglen in the USA. All our dogs are housedogs and part of the family.

We have had Deerhounds in our home since 2002 and have now decided to breed. Lainnir ( a Celtic word meaning Radiance and pronounced Lanir) was established in January 2013. Our first litter born on the 21st May 2017 (Dam CH EILRIG GALENA Sire CH CLACHTOLL UALLACH) produced some lovely Deerhounds. We have kept CH LAINNIR KUNZITE from the litter and her profile is listed on this site, and her mother Lena has now achieved the title of GRAND CHAMPION. We are hoping to have a litter with Kunzite in 2021. The chosen sire will be announced as soon as we have a mating.

DEERNBULL Kennels is a small kennel established in 2005. Our main focus is health, breed type and working ability.

Looking for his forever home Scotty is a 6 month old Swedish Vallhund puppy, he's a fun loving happy boy that would suit a family with children or someone needing a best mate. Scotty has a very kind nature, easy to live with attitude, he is very smart and a quick learner, he's playful but not over the top so lovely to live with. Scotty is only for sale due to showing is not his thing even though he's won heaps. He's fully vaccinated and vet checked, microchipped and Dna tested, and has pedigree papers. Our lovely Lucy- Aus Champ Osuno Burning Boundaries NZ Imp and Our stunning Rio - Aus Champ Osuno Grey Grenade NZ Imp have produced an amazing litter of 8 beautiful puppies. Both Lucy and Rio have amazingly calm temperaments and no health issues. We have 3 girls and 5 boys. 3 of the boys have tails and the remainder of the litter are all natural bob tails. Our puppies will be available the first week in January . The puppies will be pedigree registered with ANKC, vaccinated, microchipped, DNA parentage profiled, flea and tick treated, and wormed.
