I am located in the Coromandel, North Island NZ and am home to Ch Titled, Multi All Breeds, Class in Group, Class in Show and Reserve of Group winning Swedish Vallhunds of superb temperament and type. At Vanaheim we strive to work with unique, genetically diverse bloodlines from around the world importing and incorporating from, Sweden, Finland, America, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Our dogs do not just perform in the show ring but are the only dual titled SV's in New Zealand that can also be found competing in dog sports such as Agility, Flyball, Rally-0, Obedience and Tracking as well as in their natural working role on farms. I strive to breed happy, healthy puppies of the highest quality and all our Swedish Vallhunds are genetically diversity tested, DNA tested, Hip Scored and Eye Tested. The SV makes a loyal, loving companion which is extremely versatile as they can turn their paws to most things. They are intelligent fun characters who are suited to a home whose occupants want to engage with their dog and are fairly active. Vikingvals Swedish Vallhunds, are proud to announce our First S/V litter, From our beloved Noodle ( Au Ch Ubiqque Silver Springs) and our Stud Muffin Fokus, (Au Ch Osuno Feature Fokus), this Mating has been 2 years In the making, and we are very excited to see the potential results. Both parents are DNA tested and Hip/ Elbows scored, both Well Below the Breed Average! Both are Natural Bob Tails.

Established in 1988 under prefix Midas and then Vallarity in 2004, we are situated in the rural, central North Island on a certified organic farm.With acres of land to roam, streams to swim in, orchards to explore and woodland access, their days are never boring. Our Breeding dogs are health tested and genetically diversity tested with UC Davis, USA before being bred. While the Swedish Vallhund is a robust breed, we err on the side of caution to ensure that we, and our buyers, have a healthy puppy with a generous life expectancy. Our Vallhunds will be found competing in dog sports, on the farm herding cattle/sheep, in family homes, in Search and Rescue and as Therapy/Support dogs.  Some have saved their humans, with one recieving a National award for life saving. But most importantly,  they are much loved family members. So, this is a versatile breed and able to meet the expectations of most people wanting a loyal and clownish companion.  Once we know the requirements for our puppies, we evaluate their temperaments, during the 1st eight weeks, to suit the lifestyle they will be heading to. I fell in love with this breed when I paid a visit to Wynrik Kennels, Breeders of Welsh Pemboke Corgi`s and Swedish Vallhunds, when they moved to Victoria, these little dogs went out of their way for me to notice them, they had an amazing zest for life and energy hooked me instantly. I was lucky enough to campaign 2 from Kloval Kennels. Aus Ch Kloval Pelle and Aus Ch Kloval Orissa. Upon moving to Queensland I then was given the amazing opportunity to start a partnership with the late but very well respected Leonie Darling ( Dlarah kennels) where I started to campaign Aus Ch Dlarah Kentucky Rain and her brother Supreme Ch Dlarah Little Red Corvette. This breed is a loveable companion if you put the time in, they are a high energy breed that don`t do well just left to their own device. They are extremely intelligent and respond well to Agility or obedience. If you don`t have the time to train a puppy then this is not the breed for you. I occasionally have puppies for sale to for ever homes and are sold on a non negotiable desexing contract.

I have welcomed a lovely big litter from my Eos and Eireann. Puppies will be ready to go home just after Christmas Litter is PLN clear by parentage. All puppies seem to have heavy coat type Both parents have wonderful temperaments and are socialised well. All my dogs are always pets first before anything and puppies will be raised in my home. We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting puppies. We have a confirmed pregnancy and our reproduction specialist vet has said to expect a large litter. Puppies due the 12th of January and going to homes anytime from approx the 9th of March. Both parents of these babies are chill, friendly and characteristically obsessed with their humans. Both are undemanding dogs who rarely bark. Both pareents are around 17.5kgs so we are expecting regular size Wheatens. There are some smaller dogs in the pedigree so smaller is possible although less likely with this litter.
