Meeko, our first Finnish Lapphund, joined the pack in August 2005 and it was a match made in heaven.
Although a spitz breed by definition they are oh so similar to our Aussies in all the ways that count.
Our second Lappy kicked off her show career with a bang, winning Baby Puppy in Show her first weekend out.

Theldaroy Great Expectations "Demi" is our first Lappie and she has the most beautiful temperament. Choosing to hang out with my grandmother whenever possible. Somewhat for pats but also for the noms that might be available.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a fondness for working dogs. It wasn’t until 2009, after countless hours of research for a suitable working breed, and as if by chance, that I stumbled on a picture of a Finnish Lapphund. I began asking around and sent enquires and finally in 2011 I was blessed with my first Lappie Heidi. I’ve never looked back and since then, have added two more to my clan
Lappies have had such an amazing impact on my life and I hope to bring this same joy and love to many others in the future.
We don’t breed often and aim to keep our numbers at home small so each dog can have the love and attention they deserve. We are always looking for loving homes to help us showcase this amazing breed by offering a welcoming family and for some, by allowing their dog to contribute to the future of Ehana. Our dogs successfully compete in conformation showing as well as a number of performance sports. We welcome any enquires from potential families who would like to dip their toe in either of these worlds and are happy to mentor and support anyone wanting to give them a go.
